“This shop has become over the years my go to place for shoe repairs. Better than all others. Nicky is a craftsman who looks after my leather shoes with skill and care. Re-heeling them, building them up with leather chip inserts if necessary. He's even repaired the toes of the soles if they were too worn down. Rubber half soles no problem. Though the shop is open longer hours, Nicky himself is there more like 10-5pm each day. All the staff are polite, pleasant and professional, and it's a pleasure if my day takes me there. Right next to Whitechapel Tube station main entrance. Cash only sales, so make sure you're carrying some. And that really is cash only. Great service.”
