“Great store and usually can't fault the experience - from my visit just now the black lady cashier with colourful dreadlocks needs some customer service training, instead of clearly communicating that her checkout was closed she continually berated customers and accused them of queue jumping in an aggressive manner, the barrier to close the checkout wasn't closed at any point during my visit and she became increasingly incensed at every interaction which wasn't good for her own blood pressure and stress levels, let alone paying customers”

“Advantages: Great place for shopping for Indian groceries and general items. There is no other shop in the nearby area that has such a vast collection of items required for an Indian household. I visit here monthly from Sunbury because I cannot find some of the stuff in other shops.Disadvantages: The cost is on the higher side, even for things that you can find in other shops for less. Vegetables are not fresh every time. The staff is not good and not helpful at all. Most of the time, staff are just goofing around and not helping people. I have tried asking for help in finding some items, but the staff has never managed to help on any occasion. Cleanliness and atmosphere can be improved.”

“Started ordering online and had some lovely dishes from here. Food is always delivered on time, hot and delicious. Never had a problem with the food. Driver always polite and friendly. Ordered today as my Daughter who was 13 today asked for Indian for dinner, I pooped a note in the box asking for them to write happy birthday on the bag. They very kindly sent her j20, some chocolates and left a lovely note for her, was very thoughtful. ??”

“Most things that you need for the house, almost all branded, some own brand, with limited frozen and fresh food, in the isles that are well spaced and marked and almost all items correctly priced at competitive price to the neighbouring German discount stores. The bigger store a few miles away also has garden centre and restaurant and is worth driving up to in-store baked savoury items that are examplary quality and best priced to competition. The downside is that is almost impossible to find any staff assistance within the store. Be careful of temptations overspending on things that are not essential.”

“I have shopped here regularly since it opened and would like to take the time to say a few words of thanks to their security guard Jehan. He has always been extremely polite and friendly with me, even assisting me to shop when I was in agony after breaking four ribs. He does his job with great professionalism and empathy, dealing promptly with each situation to ensure he keeps the staff and shoppers safe. I recently witnessed him running out in to the road to safe a young boy who ran out in to the on coming traffic while his mother was shopping in the store. He showed great courage and bravery, never once thinking about his own safety. Luckily, they were both fine.I just feel that sometimes we should take the time to appreciate people like Jahal, because they not only there to stop shop lifters, they are there to keep us safe too, and he does a pretty good job!”

“I was surprised to read the comments about rude staff. Everytime I go here the people are very friendly and helpful. I will try to shop here more often, clean and organized. They lift your basket if it is too heavy, pack your bags and help you to the car if required. My baby was getting irritated so one of the staff handed her a lollypop and asked me If I needed any help. What else would you want from a grocery store?!”

“It's a Lidl, they're always nice to shop in.This one especially was really clean and looked super stocked.Probably because it was the morning as they do tend to be more stocked at that time.Popped in to get a few things, they had the coffee I liked which was amazing.As I've gone before and it wasn't there at the time.I thought to leave a review because this one server was super nice. “I go here often for lunch, usually. Great shop, i always come out with something I can eat despite my dietary limitations. Ample parking, and it's easy to get into the grounds from the road. Friendly staff. Always plenty of stock. Oh, unless it's the sandwiches around lunchtime. Try and go a bit earlier to get what you want, especially if you can't just grab anything.”
