“We have recently returned home from our two-week Safari / beach honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Our amazing personal travel agent Lyndsey booked our trip through Somak, and we couldn’t have been happier. In Tanzania we stayed in: Tarangire Simba Lodge, Karatu Simba Lodge and Serengeti Simba lodge, all of which were perfect! In Zanzibar we stayed in the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort which was also amazing! Everything from start to finish with Somak was perfect, the hotels, the food, the staff, the trips (Prison Island and Serengeti Balloon Ride) and the parks (Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater) which were all incredible. I mainly want to mention our safari guide Tissian, who was THE BEST! Tissian was so amazing, he really did make this trip a once in a lifetime holiday. He is so friendly, informative, and experienced. During our trip the roads in the Serengti were very bad, due to lots of rain, but Tissian drove so carefully, with our safety at the front of his mind. He really is an amazing driver in such challenging conditions. Tissian’s car was very reliable, we saw lots of other safari vehicles which had broken down, got stuck in the mud and even one car that had tipped in the mud, however Tissian never had any issues driving and always made us feel so safe. Tissian taught us so much about the animals, the wildlife and Tanzania, he also taught us some Swahili! Tissian made sure we were always happy and comfortable, with toilet stops when required and lots of water. Tissian knows the best spots in the parks, and he knew elephants were my favourite, so he made a conscious effort each day to spot lots of elephants. Asante Sana Tissian, we hope to return to Tanzania one day.”

“we booked our holiday with Flights Experts in June 2022. Had a fantastic time in Dubai. I was having some issue with my Online Checkin with Emirates. They sorted it out & sent me the Boarding pass. I will surely recommend them & use them for my next holiday too.”

“Update: the flight went to plan and there were no issues however I won’t use the company again.I’ve called so many times to resolve my flight issue and each time I’m promised that someone will phone me back or send an email. At this stage I have received no email though they promised it’s sent. It’s not in my junk folder either. I contacted the airline who are willing to refund or give me a credit but it appears travel unravel are the ones refusing. I have discovered I have cancer and need urgent treatment and I don’t know how long the treatment will take. I just hoped to get a credit but so far no one will return my call to help me figure this out. I’ve left at least 4 messages and called countless more times. Avoid this company!!Update: as of now (months later) I have received a credit and communication, and so far I have a new flight reserved. If all goes well with my new flight I will update my review to reflect this.”

Swiss al Makkam though good but confusing layout. Dining facilities with 4000 capacity resulted in pandemonium in Ramadan.Suggest alternative hotel”
