I went into SPAR Honiton with £60 cash to buy Tesco Mobile top-up vouchers. I put the money on the counter and asked specifically for Tesco Mobile. Two £20 vouchers were issued, but the voucher numbers were wrong ? the PayPoint slips printed short/incorrect sequences instead of the standard 16-digit Tesco Mobile codes. I immediately raised this with the cashier (Denise) and then with the manager (Helen).
I clearly said I did not want the vouchers because they were incorrect. During the discussion Denise snatched £40 from my hand; I managed to keep hold of £20. I left without workable vouchers.
To confirm the problem wasn?t mine, I went to the Post Office the same day and bought a correct Tesco Mobile voucher the receipt shows the proper 16-digit activation code and worked fine. I have all the receipts and photos.
Since then I?ve written twice to the store and had no response at all. For a straightforward issue (wrong vouchers issued and no refund or replacement), this level of customer service is unacceptable. I?m asking SPAR Honiton to refund £40 or provide the correct Tesco Mobile vouchers for the amount taken.
Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this store. I have contact the head office was told it would be resolved but nothing has been done

Social distancing not respected. Staff not wearing masks and 7 customers not wearing masks in total on 2 visits here. Sign says no entry without mask but not enforced by management. It seems if staff know the customer then they let them off from wearing a mask!!!

newly taken over from coop staff member previously disciplined for stalking and abusive behaviour. Returned to store after 2 years for the same staff member to do this again and actually still is obsessed and abusive the other staff member was so apologetic I feel for her.

Spar Abertridwr caerphilly.Can't believe that we have a surge in covid 19 yet in the spar thay allow many people in without a face mask.I was there and about 5 come in but no face masks.

I live in Nottingham I use the spar on nuttall road.on Saturday 27/2/20 went for my daily sun but no tv mag.when asked about this hadn?t come in..would save me one.never got one.l feel like I?ve been rod.is this spars policy to rob people.
