Literally.
Other Poundland shops should take example.

Very poor customer service! The cashier lied that she gave me a receipt when she didn?t. I hadn?t even fully walked out the store.
The manager came and said he couldn?t give me a receipt for my purchase. Meanwhile the cashier lied through her teeth that she gave me a receipt and kept changing her story as she spoke. I was so shocked with her lies that I requested that they check the CCTV footage and the manager disappeared to the back. The other cashier said the CCTV at the till is broken so they can?t check.
The issue is that this cashier lied about giving me a receipt and in the middle of our conversation mentioned that she isn?t judging me. After waiting for awhile for the manager to return but he didn?t, I then asked the other cashier if I can return the item for exchange if any problems and the other cashier said yes.
When I was about to take my item. The first cashier who had served me and said she had given me a receipt didn?t want to give me my already paid for item because she said she wasn?t sure if I had paid for it. It was at that moment that the other customers realised that the sales staff were in the wrong.
I am trying not to let this encounter spoil my day as it appears petty. However, people can make you feel bad for their own wrongdoings. Luckily the item that I bought was what I needed. I have given recommendations to the manager to make improvements on customer service skills. And he said Okay.

I come to this store near enough every week.There are two Indian workers both man & woman. They both know my face because I?m a regular customer. From the moment I walk in the store.They follow me around like a moth to a flame. I?m sick of it. Today I had enough and broke down in front of another customer who told me the same happens to his daughter. I don?t know if it?s because of my race or age. But it breaks my heart especially as I come in with my little child. It HONESTLY gives me anxiety and I feel like I?m not a human being like I?m not free to shop in peace. This needs to stop IMMEDIATELY otherwise I will take this higher. I will not stop until something is done about this GOD be my witness. Stop thinking everyone who comes in the store are there to steal. SERIOUSLY. Today I let it be known to the lady because enough is enough. One thing I won?t stand for is judging someone for no apparent reason. It?s disgusting. Have some integrity.
