The way life has felt since having the worst, scariest cut of my life has been such that I'll be regarding hairdressers with a lot more caution from now on.I didn't think that a woman making one side of my hair shorter than the other, the back shorter than the front, and a slither of hair for a fringe (but all just subtly enough whilst in the salon to not be able to say anything), would ever actually be a reality. I'm scared to get it cut now it's so bad. I'm not being funny but - I was clearly really nervous and distressed, and you done that? I could tell you thought I was stuck up but I tried so hard to be nice that I don't understand how you could've thought that. What goes around comes around.

I was recommended this salon and I went today 02-04-2022 for roots colour, a lovely young lady Gemma at Harrow was my stylist. It took her less then 10 mins to apply the dye and she was very friendly, quick and efficient. All other staffs are also very friendly.I sat for 45 mins and my hair was washed and for styling a coin size mousse was applied with 2 mins of diffuser to scrunch my naturally curly hair. When I was done my hair was practically still wet.I was charged a whopping amount of £65 for the treatment. When asked why so much as root colour was for £41. I was explained that applying a coin size mousse and diffuser for a min is classified as a blow dry for curly in their salon.Feedback to Management of Joseph?s Salon chain is to review pricing and classification strategies for curly hair customers.I am not Happy at all. Dissatisfied with the extra charge of £25 for some mousse and Diffuser for 2mins. It?s not same a full on blow dry, so don?t charge it as a blow dry.I have attached my appointment email for reference.Thank youPBiswasService: Hair coloring

I went for a hair dye and this was my first time. I was told that by another PROFESSIONAL hair stylist that they should have really recommended to bleach your hair because my hair is so dark after the coloring. Anyways, i saw the good reviews and that i could trust these guys but clearly not. After treatment my hair was basically the same color and when I explained i could not see any difference she just kept saying "give it some time after a few washes it will come out more" or "i dont know about you but i can defo see it!". Basically she was telling me lies cause she knew she was in trouble. Even worse, she hard sold me this shampoo and conditioner and used the fact that the color is not showing as a selling point. She explained that it would bring out the color more and it did NOTHING. I spent £20 on that shampoo and conditioner. She gave a haircut too and there's a way to cut curly hair, within couple of days my hair goes flat because of how badly cut it was.Altogether i spent £130 for this unprofessional hair dresser. I called up explaining that i need my money back or i need money off a PROPER hair dye, and it is like she knew she messed up from how hesitant her voice was but she just kept trying to say that they couldn't do anything about it after SHE gave me COMPLETELY misleading info. Such a bad hair salon, at least take responsibility for when you mess up, none of that. Will definitely NOT be attending here again.EDIT: It seems like they are replying to all the bad reviews explaining that they have "no record" of that client attending that salon. Why would we make this up? Understand your faults and fix them. If it helps you remember, i came in asking my hair to be dyed red and then it was still black. I called in after a couple of weeks explaining that no amount of washes has helped it turned red like what you said and i would like a refund??? and you told me you would get back to me but never did.Services: Curly hair

I went to this salon for the first time, recently moved, too far to travel to my old salon, I cannot fault it, Charlotte was very helpful, I suggested what I wanted and she advised to go to a more softer version and review it at another time, the final cut was excellent, considering I hadn?t had my hair cut in over a year, very pleased with the results and loved the fact that they gave advice rather than getting the scissors out and chopping, excellent service and I would recommend to anyone in the lookout for a new hairdresserService: Hairstyling

The lady who done my hair was sweet and talkative however she did not pay much attention to the cut. The back is shorter than the front, the right side longer than the left side, I am quite shocked by this to be honest. She also cut a fringe in and barely looked it over, leaving the whole front really quite messy. I was too embarrassed to say anything. Such a wonderful salon it?s like going home every week everyone is so friendly and welcoming and my hair always looks fabulous when I leave! I get so many compliments and have recommended all my friends and family who are also now regulars and love the salon as much as I do.

Always have a wonderful experience here. Reasonable prices and a quality service. Charlotte does my hair and does it perfectly every time. The other hairdressers there are also lovely people and it is a friendly environment to go in to. Has the family feel. Gail is lovely too, always gives a welcoming vibe and takes good care of you. Definitely recommend this salon.

I have been going to Joseph's Hair Salon for about 7 years - I no longer live in the area but I travel nearly two hours to get here as I wouldn't use anyone else for my colour!! II have Charlotte to thank for all the compliments on my hair (she does such a good job people think it's natural blonde). When Charlotte isn't available I book in with Ellen and she does a perfect job. Thank you ladies! :)
