Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to P&H Opticians.I have been using them for many years and I could see how well they have equipped with the state of the art equipment used for Eye Testing and comparisons.I would like to highlight the friendly staff at the South Harrow branch. They have been working for more than decades. The high tech eye examinations are so thorough it surprising others aren?t following. Preeti also helped with selecting glasses but her attention to detail is fabulous. She ensures the fit is right, advises on types of lenses and goes above and beyond to make the right choice. The whole team is so welcoming - thanks all. Pinal.

I had my eye test yesterday at P & A South Harrow and even in these difficult times Yashita, Dipa, Priti, Libby and Kirsty deliver a service with a level of professionalism, friendliness and support that is so welcoming and reassuring.They care about their clients and it shows from how we are greeted and all the way through the eye test, dispensing and spectacle selection. It is not just about the sales at P & A, you get information about the current condition of your eyes and honest advice, which on more than one occasion has stopped me buying unsuitable glasses for my face.I have used the practice since 2009 when I moved to the area and I will never change. My eyesight and that of my family with two young boys (4 and 9) are safe in their hands. Thank you ladies xxx

I do not have an account with any social media platform but am happy for my comments to be shared with any interested reader.My wife and I were transferred to Parker and Hammond when our previous optician retired rather than reopen after the initial Covid lockdown.I had been aware that my sight was deteriorating over the summer, and when my wife and I were notified of the transfer we enquired about a date for an eye test and examination.We were immediately given an early appointment.From initial enquiry through to collection and bespoke fitting of new glasses took just under three weeks.At every stage all staff were friendly courteous, competent and knowledgeable.Over the last thirty or forty years I have bought prescription glasses from three major multi- outlet opticians.They all did their job but none ever provided the same generous level of personal and, in particular, professional care offered by Parker and Hammond.

I have been going to Parker and Hammond for over 30 years. I have moved away from the area, but still continue to use as the service provided is excellent, and the staff are so helpful and friendly. For a local company the technology used is innovative and up to date. The choice of frames is also really good as well.

Last year, based on recommendations from a friend, I went to Parker and Hammond in Harrow for an eye test and new glasses. The staff were very professional, friendly and thorough that I decided to have my future eye tests at this practice. Last week I went for my annual eye test and the standard is very high. In view of Covid, I felt very safe since measures were taken to protect the patient and staff.I will definitely recommend Parker and Hammond to my friends since this is the best opticians around.

I recommend Parker & Hammond. I visited them last week for an eye test and new glasses. The first thing to say is that they are very thorough in the way they deal with the precautions needed in consequence of the current pandemic, but in a way that causes minimum inconvenience to customers. I felt safe. The staff are friendly, professional and thorough, and objective in the advice they give. Everything was explained clearly in order to help me decide for myself which glasses to buy and what coating to have on them. I was grateful for the informed assistance I was given in selecting frames that best met my requirements and suited me. I have used various opticians over the years, switching to Parker & Hammond a few years ago. I wouldn't now wish to go anywhere else.

I have been using the services of Parker Hammonds for almost 10 years.I must emphasis, they are one of the best .The service is very professional, staff are very friendly and help you choose your frame with ease. Great selection of frames too.We use Parker Hammonds Opticians as family optician.Highly recommend them.

I have visited this store before and again the entire experience was seamless. Everything was explained which I appreciated. Because I have a major eye problem I am very familiar with the tests being carried out but it was good having a detailed explanation especially after using the OTC equipment. Every question I asked was answered in a professional way.I was also impressed how the staff cleaned areas after each client use in such a discreet way that it was hardly noticable.My quirky sense of humour was understood so there was a lot of laughter.For me there was no waiting around, and all the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The personal but professional touch goes a long way.

I am a new patient with Parker and Hammond opticians having been with my previous optician for many years.I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff and the care and professionalism I received was absolutely fantastic. I had been going to my old opticians for years, I hated going and every time I left the shop with new glasses, it didn't feel like a good experience. This year I decided to try Parker and Hammond for an eye test because of the reviews I'd read online. The experience between Parker Hammond and my old opticians was like night and day. Fabulous friendly and professional service. When I arrived, they tested my old glasses and even tightened them up for me without hestiation. I had lots of help when choosing my new glasses, they were very thorough when it came not only to the eye and eye health tests but also to helping me choose and fitting my new glasses. To be honest I think I it would be hard to find another opticians this good and I'm not going anywhere else for the foreseeable future!
