One of the few branches left in the north west London/middlesex region. Excellent customer service from the ladies working at this branch. They are friendly, patient and courteous. Whatever problem you have whether big or small they are always willing to help. Great branch, great bank.

I went in a few months ago to try and change my name on my card. Not one person asked if I was okay I was not sure what que I was supposed to be in, everyone that worked there either ignored me of gave me a dirty look. I sure will not be going back into this branch. At least wembley acknowledge your existence.
Harrow branch is awful customer service

Our Halifax mortgage advisor was Rachna Sedani. My wife and I went to her for mortgage advice for the first time and she dealt with our joint mortgage application. The reason why I'm leaving this one star review is because she wasted our time for more than six months, said there weren't certain things showing up on our payslips and that we couldn't afford the properties we've viewed outside London. The mortgage offer letters she gave us didn't make sense. This was also mentioned by the Estate Agent's Mortgage Advisor so we decided to go to him for mortgage advice. Rachna didn't keep us updated of our mortgage application so I had to ring her everytime to find out what's happening. But when we went to the estate agent's mortgage advisor he sorted out our mortgage as soon as possible without hassle, kept us updated by email and phone. Finally we've got the key for the flat in March 2024 that Rachna said we couldn't afford. What made me very angry was that she took £100 broker fee from me and she didn't do her job properly. I don't recommend Rachna Sedani for mortgage advice.
She isn't the right person for a mortgage advisor job. She's only good for office and toilet cleaning.

Third class service no supportive people there so try to go any other bank rather than this branch or bank.

My mother and I had an appointment with Alpana at the Harrow branch. We were seen to with only a 10min delay so no problem.\\n\\nThe appointment was to have my mothers old joint 'book' account changed into a modern account for us both as my father had passed away.\\n\\nAlpana was informative, and just all round perfect really. I had no issues at all and the entire process was about 20mins.

Went in and the lady was misinformed, rude, dismissive. I am on the verge of shutting down my own account. Appalled to have my money in the hands of such people. Completely lost confidence.
