The children's dept in the Harrow branch of Clarks never disappoints in being the WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD! It is always the least staffed area in the shop despite being frequently busy because Harrow is full of families. The other sales staff in the shop completely ignore customers looking to purchase children's shoes which means you're in for a minimum 40 minute wait while people shopping in the adult side of the shop can sail straight in and be served immediately which is incredibly frustrating!You take a ticket on entry which is virtually meaningless as there is no digital sign on the wall to let you know how far down the queue you are. The one sales person in the children's section completely ignores everyone else while they serve one family at a time, who might be trying on multiple pairs of shoes, sometimes for multiple children. Why they can't let the first family try their shoes on (which with children is no fast process just getting them on the feet) and bring up shoes for the next customer while they are lacing them up etc is beyond comprehension. Even a digital display so you could check yourself what's in stock and prices available so you don't wait all that time only to be told your child's shoe size isn't in stock in the style they like and that you should order online.The whole system is totally outdated and leaves the whole family going mildly insane and feeling very very angry. When you're paying £50 for a pair of shoes they will outgrow in 4 months, the process should be made as simple and pain free as possible. Even Clarks Outlet doesn't offer free collection from your local store, so you have to pay £5 for delivery even if you live 5 mins away from a Clarks shop. I've started buying school shoes from the nearby M&S as a result because we can take them straight off the peg, try them on in store, with no help from any staff and the whole thing takes less than 20 minutes.Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Came in yesterday to buy my kids school shoes but the clerk and his assistant doesnt seem to want their job, no sense of customer service, the clerk's assistant seemed annoyed when I asked for a new stock because he just gave us the pair of the one being displayed (I noticed because its full of creases).

Great experience at Clarks, with amazing customer service especially by Kairavi. She was very friendly and considerate. She did the feet measurement for my cousin who is 4 and was very engaging. Will definitely visit Clarks again.

They always have such a great variety and you can always find what you're looking for. I love shopping here. The store is clean and organized and has plenty of space to move around in.

Was served by Roxanna\Roxanne (forgive me for not recalling the name properly) and she gave us the best customer service. She took the time to measure my son?s feet properly and search high and low for the perfect shoe for him (spending over half an hour with us in total which is unheard of nowadays in the high street retail industry!)Thank you so much to you and the whole team!
