They stopped a CHAPS payment for further security checks. The rule is that they have 24 hours to either clear the payment or contact the customer. They did neither and, according to their rules, that automatically cancels the transaction!!! I have to now go back to the same branch (can't use any other branch) and start the process again. 25 miles round trip, loss of interest, loss of my time. I have lodged a complaint, of course.
