“Haven’t visited Pearson for some time. On visiting with my two kids at the weekend, the store looks bright and full. Felt modernised and updated. Our visit was slightly spoiled by an over eager, and what appeared to be, a covert security staff member, who felt the need to stand by us pretending to look at stock. Quite silly really. He succeeded in spoiling the visit resulting in us leaving.Rest assured ‘officer’, a 22-year newspaper veteran and a university law student pose no threat so please stand-down. However well done for being attentive. No doubt we’ll visit again remembering to not look too casual next time.”

“I went into the men's section which is pretty good. A wide range of clothes, some with patterns. There are clothes that are good for formal wear and smart casual.I found some good polo shirts here. They have a good range of colours too.The biggest problem I had is that there is little to no medium sized clothes for anything which was annoying. I found some really good tops and trousers but there was only Large, Extra Large or Small which are no use to me.No Medium sizes available. Since this is the most popular size I suggest there needs to be more of this.Special thanks to Vera who is an excellent shop assistant, she helped me with all my queries. Helpful and a wonderful person to talk to.Overall this is a good shop. I recommend.”

“Love the home care section here. Good quality and professional pots, pans, and cookware. It's worth the extra pennies, yet still less than if you purchased them in a department store.”

“Love this place, huge and lots of choices for homeward and very reasonable prices. I love seeing what I purchase which in today's on-line shopping options is a rarety. Probably spent more than would have on-line but didnt mind because of being able to see products. Definitely worth visiting”

“Great staff working there, very helpful and polite. I went there on Saturday, it was quite busy but the staff were still trying their best to help. I love their good communication through the radio system.”

“Love this place every time I go shopping I always take a look at Argos just to see what's new in and see what there is for Xmas present also. I think it's much better now they have combined with sainsbury too. Great move.”

“I went to buy 24 tins of biscuits as gifts for the klasp volunteers. I bit too much for me to carry. Denise helped by first seeing if they had unopened sets, and then bringing me a trolley to put them in. She fast tracked me through check-out and said I could use the trolley to take them to the car. Denise made the whole experience so smooth. Thank you”

“Ohh..all the designer dresses in Pearsons. There's Oasis and Warehouse, parisian designers..a good mix of everything. You can buy a party dress at Pearsons no problem. Pearsons sells other stuff for the home and men's but I'm not interested in that. What I want to say about this shop is that you'll like it because it is like John Lewis but cheaper. You can actually almost afford things in here. Ps. The bag selection is small and of note.”
