I went to the Ealing branch of The Co-operative Bank after trying and failing multiple times to submit a savings account application online a few weeks back. The staff were helpful and quickly booked me an appointment for the next day with Pinal Patel.
Pinal spotted the issue straight away ? an error in my account address was blocking the application. She was calm, professional, and really focused on finding a solution. Thanks to her, everything was sorted with minimal hassle and I can finally access my Regular Saver account.
I really appreciate the support from both Pinal and the team at the branch.

Received excellent service today from both the lady behind the counter (wished I had written down her name; I believe it started with the letter B) and from Ms Pinal Patel. You certainly have very helpful staff; a very big Thank You to both of them!!

Worst bank in London. Failed to correct my details despite multiple trips to the branch. Customer service never called back when they said they would. Avoid at all costs or you will be out of pocket.

Compare to other banks in Ealing they deserve 5star.
helpfull staff, i had no even an appoitment this morning, but they spend around 40 minutes to do paperworks for an application and credit card and an account, Pinal Punjani very good service and gone through out every single details.

Awful organisation to deal with on bereavement. Every other organisation, bank, insurance company and utility I've dealt with have a speacialist bereavement team who are clearly trained to deal with these difficult situations. With the coop bank, there is no direct number to call. You have to go through the standard customer service number (which they take more than 20 minutes to answer) who do not really know how to handle situations. All I get is "yeah - they have a backlog .. you just have to wait." I am still waiting ... long past when all other companies have dealt with things. I'm glad I'm not a customer. I wouldn't recommend them at all after this experience.

It takes too long for them to process simple transfers. Although Victor Perez, the manager is very helpful. The rest of the staff are useless.I waited one hour to transfer bond to a new bond and even then it was not done.
I had left several messages for the manager to contact me but to date has failed to contact me. When complained to head office, he denied getting messages to contact me. Either the staff are useless or the Manager is totally incompetent. Avoid this Branch at all costs.

Very rude and moody staff very unhelpful didn?t get her name but one Asian women I spoke to was even on her phone. No indication or what to do or any help very impolite

worst experince i opened acount with them for daily in and iutbgoings .now i understand why they are closing they stoped my payments and made me wait all day wasted my time did not helped instead put hold on my account rubbish service will close the -acount

I walked in today. Only 1 counter was open, no queue, I thought wow great won't take too long.I asked for 3k, first the woman at the counter asked me rudely what the money is for? How about: none of her business??!! Then by telling her that it's for a new car, she has the audacity to ask me where I've seen the car? How about: none of her business??!!I didnt answer her, she then says: oh it's because loads of people get scammed..Don't worry lady, I won't get scammed just give me MY money.But what shocked me the most is that she took my co-op card and my driving licence and asked me to sit and wait on a chair. She then goes to the BACK of the building, disappears with my sensite information to get approval from her colleagues. Really???She comes back after a few minutes, waves me back to the counter and then gives me the cash without counting and tells me this has been counted by 2 colleagues at the back already.My goodness was I stunt.... This shouldn't even be legal???I'm switching back to Lloyds, this is unbelievable.Why and how does co-op want us trust an ordinary employee with our details in our absence. My license has my address on it, my DOB, my card is with her while i'm not there to see what she's doing with it.I switched to you guys only on the 4th of Jan this year, I'm so glad I walked in today to see how secure my details are with you.I'm going back to Lloyds. Thank you so much but the most ethical bank isn't so ethical after all.She has the audacity to speak about scams when she herself is being the biggest threat to me and others. The good reviews must be a scam too.

Such a rubbish bank first of all it has very limited branches specially in london second they have stoped my online transaction and want to know why am i wanting to pay some one ofcourse its my money incan pay any one why you holding my payments and asking me to travel 7 miles and come to your branch and explain ???? I need explanation its my money i can move any where none of your buinssnessWill soon cancle this account as i just opened .

Excellent customer service at this branch in Ealing Broadway, which was a pleasant reminder of bygone days when you could go into a branch and get prompt and efficient service. I wish they would reopen more branches! The manager, Mr Victor Perez was extremely helpful, efficient and courteous. Many thanks to Darcey as well for her prompt communication with Ealing branch and helping me get the necessary paperwork. Mr Victor Perez is an asset to the co-operative bank. Thank you for all your help.

Diabolical service. No one answers the phone. Moody unkempt counter staff I'm amazed these people are employed. Avoid this place absolutely awful
