Gyms in Clapham, Greater London

“This spot was in a convenient location but slightly smaller than most gyms. The changing rooms are exceptionally clean with lots of showers and changing space so you’re guaranteed to find room and a locker.”

“This is my local gym. Next door to my block. It’s perfect. It has everything that I’m looking for. It could do with some updated machines, especially compared to other gyms and what they have (Balham… my GOD??).

My only gripe is really with the other members that come because they can’t do a simple thing that is plastered all over the gym… put your weights/plates back.

A bunch of people that have signed up believe that because they pay a “premium” rate that someone will tidy up after them. A lot of the time, it’s the person that wants to use the same machine/space after them.

What the hell?

To those of you that put your weights back and/or spend time tidying up a space before you use it BEFORE your workout: thank you and big up yourself.

To the mannerless tramps that can’t even put plates and weights back where they found them: you people are ruining the space that a lot of people like myself value greatly. Imagine if the space was gone (see 2020-21), what would you do then apart from get out of shape and nasty?

Love to all the staff that work there though. They have done an INCREDIBLE job taking care of the space. Very welcoming to all new members and very helpful when needed.

I remember gym space that I went to where if you didn’t put the weights back, they fined you £5 each time.

“I've been here on and off for three years and it's a decent gym. Staff changes in the last couple months are much improved but fix the damn air-conditioning! It's a sauna in the gym if it's above 14 degrees outside. Unacceptable for over £100 a month.

Air con is fixed! Finally”
