“I was really impressed by my experience of reCentre. First of all the place was super convenient as it lay between Tooting Bec and Balham. The team were friendly and were always able to accommodate my schedule and Hamza my therapist did a great job. Within a few short sessions, he gave me flexibility and range in my shoulder - all pain free. I was expecting the therapy to take much longer, but by four sessions (the last two only 30 minutes long) I was pretty much back to normal. I couldn't have asked for anything more.”

“Very nice gym, surprisingly big and spacious. I went during the day and seemed very quiet so it was easy to get on all the machines I wanted. Free weights seem to be downstairs, cardio and other machines on middle floor and changing rooms on the top floor. They also seem to have a class studio.”

“It's a great gym overall. It's considerably better than some of the other PGs in the area, the equipment is brilliant and it's always a bonus when towel service is included. I truly enjoy working out here.
However, the only issue I have is the gym's lackadaisical approach to people not putting their weights back after they've finished their workouts. Its own rules urge people to be considerate of others by re-racking weights, but over the past year so many people have ignored that rule. It's gotten worse. I nearly tripped over a few times because some lazy folks did not bother to tidy up. Management don't seem to do anything about this.
I emailed them feedback recently and they replied promising to rectify this going forward. Fingers crossed they do because this is such a brilliant gym, I do enjoy working out here and it doesn't deserve to be trashed so mercilessly by some entitled so-and-sos who can't tidy up after themselves. I'm sure the staff are great people and work hard, but they need to step up their war on lazy lifters. Thanks so much, PG Aldgate, and see you next time.”
“The Spartan Gym is a great place for a peaceful and uninterrupted workout.They have a large selection of equipment, all in dedicated spaces, weights, boxing and cardio. The gym is kept tidy and it is your responsibility to keep it so.What makes this gym better than Fitness First, The Gym or PureGym is that its never too busy. You can access equipment without waiting in queues or having people always asking you, "how many sets you got left?". Highly recommend.”
“I can not put into words how much i love this gym, everyone is extremely nice they’re never rude they’re so friendly and lovely the personal trainers are amazing I’m generally amazed by how good this gym is. I’ve never been motivated to go to the gym before but this one is so different it makes me wanna go everyday. Also when i tell you some of the personal trainers are genuinely my friends it’s so sweet ”

“Just for a visit in London, this Gym fits perfectly. It’s a small gym with all the weights and machines you’ll need. There is a shower and bathroom too, an opportunity to buy something to drink. The fee is extremely moderate: 5 pounds (for a month!) and you pay one time, no contract or anything that binds you financially. It’s unlike any gym chain, built with love and understanding for what’s really needed. Fully recommended!”

We attended for a massive competition with over 1400 competitors.The buildings facilities were continually maintained to a high standard through the day.Easy to get to on the DLR and great views of the runway to watch some planes take off and land.Didn’t go in, but the gym there looked really awesome too.”

“Orangetheory Fitness in Islington, London, exceeded all my expectations! Coach Charence was simply incredible, providing expert guidance and motivation throughout the workout. The playlist was spot on, perfectly syncing with the beats for an immersive experience that made it easier to get into the rhythm. The SA was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The studio itself is impressively clean and organized, and I felt completely safe during my workout. Overall, an outstanding experience that I can't wait to share with my other OTFers!”
“Good gym with enough equipments. Class music is quite loud though. I trained there with Monika and loved every bit of it. It's hard to build strength as I am quite small but she was very patient and helpful. She pushed me to the limit to help me stronger. We also had lots of laugh. Definitely recommend her to anyone xx”

Excellent 12 weeks of sessions with Alejandro and colleagues who changed my life and set me up for feeling I could join a gym, gave me confidence to exercise in the right ways. I was apprehensive about using the machines but the excellent instruction and care of the Battersea staff encouraged me to overcome all these fears. I can’t praise this facility and the staff enough. Thanks so much. Particularly loved the circuit training and the yoga class run by Gideon - so much more than a generic yoga class he really helped me see and change my spine stiffness. “Sifu Bryan is the only one in London teaching Northern Praying Mantis kung fu, it's a phenomenal system, it does not Retreat it's always on the front foot, looking to blitzes its opponents with strikes, locks, throws, breakages, sweeping and pressure points. “Been using this gym for just over a month and I really do like it. I switched gyms to this one because it’s less busy and much smaller than the other one.I love the classes the fitness instructor is lovely and very friendly and helpful. The circuits and pump classes are my favourite at the moment. I do want to learn how to use more of the equipments in the gym, just need to boost my confidence a little bit more.The staff members I have met are also helpful and friendly and we always greet each other when I go there.5mins walk from home which makes me love it even more. It’s definitely boosted my confidence level and I can’t wait to see progression in my body.”
“this is a very good course with quite a few challenges (i first played this course over 45 years ago but moved away). there were a few temporary greens in place due to the weather but perfectly playable. my only real complaint about the course is that the members seem to think that the course is there's and they broke the golden golf rule and would not let me play through even though i was behind them from the fifth hole, eventually i had to miss a hole to get in front as they were so slow and holding up play. the staff here were very pleasant and should be commended especially the lady in the clubhouse who explained everything about the course to me perfectly..”
