I called this branch and was connected to an agent who told me that I could just walk in for a safe deposit box but when I arrived was dismissed and told to return with an appointment. I explained I drove 30+ minutes based on their wrong advice but was not supported further. If they knew anything about customer service they?d understand the error came from Metro and hence squeeze me in.

This bank used to be customer focused, but appears has lost its way and is now rule-oriented, losing sight of what the customer wants and needs. Talking to the staff at the Chiswick Branch was like talking to a stone wall as they did not want to hear feedback. For example, I was coming from out of town for a limited number of days. They limited the amount of change I could deposit into my account, so I have to wait until my next trip before depositing more. Getting to my safety deposit box was an ordeal even though three officers were at their desk without customers and they are the ones to give access. This was because the teller must register you first and there was only one teller working with a long line. Metro Bank is NOT the experience it used to be! I wish the old bank management was back!!!

Find it Very inconvenient not being able to do my banking on weekends. Too busy to go during weekdays due to work.
At least Chiswick branch should open few hours on Saturday.

I encountered a frustrating situation today when I attempted to deposit money into my account but was unable to do so because the bank required VERIFIABLE PROOF of the source of the funds. I found this demand to be completely absurd and outrageous. Rest assured, as soon as I have the opportunity, I will be taking my business elsewhere and closing all of my accounts with this institution. Their behavior is despicable and utterly unacceptable.

Don't often go into the branch, but popped in yesterday for a non-standard transaction - the service was excellent - even ended up sorting out something else that I had been meaning to do to for ages - all done highly efficiently, swiftly, politely, and with a smile - thank you to Aishah

DisasterMetro was not able to sort out the issues with the App for months.I needed to go 4/5 times in store and to send numerous time screenshots to IT department and problem was not solved.However, it just caused me a lot of stress and loss of earnings.

Went to this Metro Bank today to get some help with a few issues that needed resolving, have to say probably one of the best experiences I?ve had with customer service in a bank before extremely polite and efficient service, I was helped by Nej today who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient whilst we set up a few things on the account she is definitely a credit to the company and I want to say thank you for helping me today. Amateurs they dont have a clue about banking they will need at least 15 years to become professional every time i ask question i need to wait 4 people to have answer and you see staff behind desks doing nothing while people waiting to been seen !!

I spoke to Shamilah Mughal at the Chiswick Branch. She was extraordinarily helpful. And kind! To be honest, I won't go into details here, but she truly went above and beyond. This is the second time that staff at the Metro Bank have distinguished themselves. Thank you, Shamilah.
