Barry the duty manager is rude and disrespectful towards customers. The service here really went downhill. I was standing in the section for electricians waiting to order and pay, I was the only customer. At least 5 or 6 staff walked passed me, then Barry passed me twice or three times as well - all of them ignored me. I was really surprised and annoyed. I called one of them and was told to move to the other room to be served so I did - there were 3 people behind the tills and no customers to serve. Barry kept singing and making jokes with two female staff behind the tills and I waited for the items I paid for, without anyone attending to my orders in sight. After a while I lost it and asked if anyone's bringing my staff, to which one of the girls logged in to her screen to check. I then turned to Barry and said I did not appreciate being ignored like that, especially when himself passed next to me waiting few times without even acknowledging, I said at least you could have said - move to the othe room. He's response was "you have your ticket right?" then walked off. Total and utter shambles, this place was different before Barry. It was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Now customers are ignored and have to listen to Barry's stories how his missus aksed about his scratched back and watching him giggle. Sort this out Screwfix! You are losing loyal customers! It's a disgrace.

The new gaffer Barry is clueless , he needs to sort this place out , after getting nowhere with the staff after a simple request I asked to speak to the manager, Barry is his name , had not got a clue , his attitude stinks , has no customer service at all , how do these people get the job? I'm taking this higher , every time I use these I have a problem

Very disappointed with today's visit ..I drove Queued in traffic. To visit this store to purchase some rawlplugs I saw them on line. I needed about 20. Prices ranged from £2 29 Upwards..I was assisted by the manager . A very charming and apologetic guy .Slightly embarrassed as all the lower price rawplugs were out of stock. Only £7.99 upwards stock was available...Is it a BIG problem for the out of stock items be shown on the website ? To save time and un necessary journeys .surely it's Quite a simple thing to do ...It tells the staff in store it's out of stock. Why not the customer on the website

Terrible service ever .. I ordered a ronseal upvc paint. I didn?t need it anymore which is fair enough.
Called up to receive my refund £24.99 which is allowed, the store couldn?t find my order and told me my card details don?t match up Brixton for you! Absolute Madness!!

Typical awful diversity hire service. Awful rap playing out the stereo too loud. Huge queue of customers and the fella barely moving at a snails pace before dumping my good for collection on the desk and walking off before I could ask to purchase the thing I was holding. So sod it, walked out with my free adhesive, thanks Screwfix.

The second visit within two weeks - on both occasions a different shop assistant but both were EXTREMELY bothered to do their job - lack of knowledge or interest to help - turn the screen and tell you ?to pick what you want.? The worst customer service I have ever experienced

I ordered something that I never received, they tell me they will send it to me, they don't send it back to me, they don't reimburse me and it's been a month and a half since I've had any news from their part even after my emails
