It was very quiet when we got here at 2.30pm. Food was served quickly and is easy to order from the machines or at the counter. I love that they don't do brioche buns!

First burger had a long black hair in, I showed the guy serving who kindly replaced it for us. Bit into the second burger - long grey beard hair. 0 food hygiene, avoid ?

Portion sizes in relation to cost is eye watering;
Almost £10 for a burger that fits in the palm of your hand!!
Chicken bites portion size are toenail sized.
Chips are almost £5.
My chair had food on it and the place is filthy. There is months old dust accumulated on the ?collect here? sign.
Don?t believe the hype, I won?t return. There is a reason why it?s virtually empty compared to tWagamama, Nandos etc.
Party & Bun , Bleeker burger are both better than this place.
In fact Patty & Bun is better value and the quality is much better as they have rosemary chips and bigger high quality burgers.

This was their specials as well..???
Really devastating. I feel like I paid £10 for a McDonald?s cheese burger. It?s so small and the stuffing is very less. It was my First time, I?m not coming back here again.

Went for the 10 pound combo meal but not worth the money. It was very overpriced for a small portion and they skimp on a lot of stuff (no lettuce, no tomato, no onions, no sauce in the burger).

Disappointing Experience
I was very disappointed with my visit. The hamburger was badly burnt and tasted awful, clearly made using old, overused oil. The quality of the food did not match the price at all ? I paid £49 for what can only be described as a terrible meal. Definitely not worth it and wouldn?t recommend.

Went there with my family. The food was amazing. The wings with different flavours made it more delicious. However my personal favourite was the smoky bacon burger. Service was very friendly aswell.

Cold fries, which I had to argue with the staff to get replaced. The crispy shallot burger was a wet sloppy mess, covered in something sticky, which stuck the bun to the paper and I had trouble getting off my fingers. Worst burger I have ever had.

I?m quite disappointed with my recent experience at Shake Shack, especially considering the premium pricing and the reputation the brand carries. I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the food and overall offering fell short.
To begin with, the burgers were underwhelming. They were quite small in size and lacked any distinctive flavour or unique qualities that would set them apart from standard fast food options. Given the cost, I anticipated something more substantial and memorable.
One of the most surprising aspects was the absence of a dedicated kids? menu. It?s quite perplexing that Shake Shack offers a dog menu, yet there is no consideration for younger diners. This is even more confusing when you take into account that dogs are not allowed in the shopping centre where the restaurant is located. I raised this concern with a staff member, and it still doesn?t make sense how a dog-friendly menu is prioritised over children, who are much more likely to be present.
Additionally, I was disappointed to find that there were no meal deal options available. Everything must be ordered separately, which quickly adds up. For example, a small portion of fries costs £4.55, which is not only expensive but also insufficient for sharing between two people. When compared to similar establishments like Five Guys or even a local chip shop, where the portions are more generous and better value for money, Shake Shack seems overpriced for what it offers.
Overall, my experience did not live up to expectations, and I don?t see myself returning in the future. I believe there is significant room for improvement, both in terms of value and customer consideration.
