I purchased an indoor airer which cost £25.00. The product came shrink wrapped and when we opened it, it was not what we wanted! As it was shrink wrapped we could not wrap it back up. We took it back to either exchange it or get a refund but was told we couldn't do that as it had been opened!!! Nowhere on the website did it say that you 'could not return it if it had been opened"! If that is the store policy then they really should put a very big clear notice on the shrink wrap of the product saying 'IF YOU REMOVE THIS SHRINK WRAP YOU CANNOT RETURN THIS PRODUCT'We are both in our 60's and the 2 young girls in store spoke to us like we were, at the best naughty little children or at worst 2 doddery old people who could not understand what they were saying. All this happened with a queue of people behind us which was not only patronising but VERY embarrassing! The staff need to learn better customer relations and the store needs to make it clear that, as one on the young girls told us, 'you cannot buy then try!!! Unbelievable!Argos was always my go to store but I have had 3 bad experiences on the trot now and will NEVER shop at Argos again!

Rudest and most unhelpful of any store I?ve ever visited. Appalling service, and that?s from the manager. Thankfully head office and another local store were much more helpful.

Very disappointed, went out crying by the manager at Argos. I bought an apple charger cable from Argos, I asked a staff there to help me find the charger because I couldn?t decide which was the correct cable so the lady who works there said that this cable is okay and I replied okay order it . She ordered it and I collected it the same day.I come home and found out that the cable is not the correct one for my phone . So on the same day I go again to Argos inside the Sainsbury and tell the staff that we ordered the wrong thing I have to make a change . They refused to take it back with explanation that I have opened the seal . I didn?t destroy anything and I didn?t even take the cable out as in meantime i realised that it was the wrong one . The manager came in a very rude an un polite way talking to me that I can?t do anything from you and didnt give me any explanation. I was with my two young kids and I didn?t want to debate as the manager left me without any explanation. I?m very disheartened and I feel very bad going back there because of the way they treated me . Anyone who is thinking to buy electronic products there , please DONT.

Refused to take back something that had not been used and had a miniscule scuff mark putting it together. Staff very unhelpful and rude!!! Shop here if you want to be spoken to like you came off the bottom of their shoe!!

I went to Argos today 14/07/2021 to refund faulty Tinyphones Kids Head 933/2858 at around 13.58 . While I was looking for my receipt, Sales consultant was saying that I bought nothing from Argos. Then she went at the back for a very short time. On her return she said "System has no records under your email." Even after I have found my copy of receipt in my email, Sales Consultant was continuing saying that system was working this morning. She was not going to say "Sorry" at all.I do not think people like her should be working for Argos. This is a very bad "face" for your company.

Very bad product, I'm really disappointed, the drawers doesn't match, my husband took like 3 hours in each chest of drawers, it's even more expensive than ikea and very bad product, i really don't understand how is more than £100 for each chest of drawers been such the worst product i ever had ?

Very rude staff, Argos need to invest in training these staff. Lack complete costumer service. Don't even understand the simple logic of refunding payment to the original card. Gosh!
