Great, helpful staff but the clothing, shoes & gloves are really poorly stocked. They have very little that is shown on their website.

Very helpful shop. I had lost a very small Allen bolt to my Brompton mudguards and only solution was to buy a new rear mudguard (£40), however they searched their tray of spare Allen bolts and found one to fit, sorted in minutes and no charges. Very refreshing and reminds me of old fashion bike shops back in the day ?

This guy opened up early and helped my mate change his tyre and was a hero, got us off on the road and was so helpful. I also watched him recommend and help other customers with better products and he gave me some great advice on socks. Really good service deserves a shout out, not sure of his name but skin head guy, been cycling all his life. Legend

They basically can't be bothered answering the phone, and if they do (1% probability), they're just rude.
I'm gonna spend my cycle 2 work allowance elsewhere.

They're a London cycling institution for a reason - ideally placed if you have a commuting mechanical and staff who actually know their stuff. Went in for two tubes but came out with a discounted helmet replacement too (£30!?) plus borrowed their track pump.

Asked for help to fix an issue with a wheelchair. The staff could not have been more helpful, considerate and kind. Not only was the issue fixed but we left with a couple of extra bolts and a multi-tool, and would not take payment! Thank you ?

Awful experience. This store has really gone down the drain since 2019.
They NEVER answer the phone and when questioned the Eastern European man behind the desk, he said he is always busy. Had the same answer 3 separate times.
I was clearly lying.
The rest of them are ok but seriously, is there nobody better to hire!?
Evans sort this out. You used to be good.

Had a terrible experience here. Brought my bike in because the wheel was damaged right outside the shop. They told me it would take a couple days to fix. A week later I still hadn't heard anything. Called many times before I finally got through. They told me that the wheel had been ordered but not delivered, but it should be soon. Another week gone by, still no word from them. In the meantime I have spent so much on my daily commute. Finally went in to get a refund and my broken bike back, and had to walk it to another bike shop that then fixed it in under 24 hours. Such a waste of time and money!

Terrible customer service experience here. My girlfriend came here with a simple inner tube issue half an hour before closing. A fix that would only take 5 minutes. Was told nobody could help and they were closing shortly. Really not a great look when a female wants some help to get herself home safely. Luckily the next door cycle shop had their morals in the correct place and helped her out.
Very disappointed in Evans, as up until this incident I have always experienced great service. They have just lost a valuable customer.
