During a family trip to London, my husband and I tried to close our old bank accounts, which hadn’t been used in years. The experience was extremely frustrating. It felt like a Little Britain sketch, with staff replying “computer says no” and making the process unnecessarily difficult.
Applied for an account online, requested to validate my identity. Visited this branch, asked why not uploaded online and informed them this is part of the online application process, of course I did. Asked more questions before being told the person who could help is busy. Waste of time. I won't be moving my... read full comment
