“While it is not my favourite grocery shop in the area, there are few things I really value about Budgens. You can find some delicacies that are not available in other stores (Italian and Spanish mostly), they store a lot of Biona Canned organic food and they have a great choice of wine and beers.”

“I went there to get bottles of water & snacks & organic bananas ( they were rotten ! Got molds right away ! ) & their vegan raspberry jello !! My fave !! Their mini shortbread is my fave,too !!”

“I went in for a meal deal and was expecting to leave asap however self checkout had different ideas I was helped by a very nice Gentleman called Nathan can you as a store or a company Please recognise Nathan for his exceptional professionalism and kind nature. After I had been helped by him I was paying and I heard him complimenting a customer for their attire making pleasant conversation with them also as well as directing them and assisting them to pay. Thank you Nathan I wish a lot of people upheld such lovely values as yourself. I have worked retail for 10 years and would have felt honoured to work along side someone like that making the customer experience top tier as he did. In short Excellent staff member, nice clean store also. 5/5”

“Convenient store, could be tidier, with the quality of Waitrose. Note the hours Google has for opening as at end March 2025 are wrong. The store closes 10pm weekdays.”

“Very handy Sainsbury's local on Essex Road, next door to a Tesco local (or whatever their small ones are called). I got some gorgeous cut flowers from here at a very reasonable price for their quality, so I am very happy indeed. Also has all the usual sections to get the basics. There is a bigger Sainsbury's up the road in Angel.”

“Dropped by the other day to grab a lunch before traveling on the Eurostar. M&S Simply Food is located inside the St. Pancreas International train terminal before check-in and before security. The shop is stocked with numerous sandwiches, perfect for multi-hour train rides, along with crisps, baked items, and beverages. The shop is rather crowded with many taking their rolling suitcases inside. There is a security guard at the door and check-outs are exclusively self and card only.”

“I like this shop for shopping for one person. Can't say that the choice is bigger than in the one in Dalston, but it always has some home useful stuff (for sewing, cooking, celebrating). Also it has "All Day Breakfast" ready meal, which I can't find anywhere else. Pleasant stuff at self-checkout (and cashiers), always helpful, sometimes humorous :)”

It stand out when people care and the lady what seems to be in a supervisory role is great, and the other staff are also really kind and polite and always pleasant to deal with from my experience.Finally, I appreciate the customer service at Sainsbury’s. A member off staff called AAYUSHI always smile on her face and very friendly and helpful, she helps me find what I’m looking for.Thank you so much..”

“Friendly people that work there, especially a staff member i think called harry always helpful and polite. Sometimes it can feel erratic with long queues but it soon gets moving.For a small tescos it stocks alot, ... fresh veg& fruits meats , hams ,hummus , halal pattys, spring rolls samosa, alcohol, juices batteries cleaning materials etc.so good for sma or larger shops.”

“I've been using this petrol/ mini market for a few weeks and felt I have to write this review, let me say the staff there are wonderful but I have to especially say the young lady who's name is Grace is an asset to the company, she is polite and witty and certainly brightens my day. I must also point out another fantastic member of staff called Thayalan who truly is a nice man.”

“This Tesco has improved a lot!Two years ago it was a bit of a boys club, low stock,loud music, sloppy attitude. But now things are a lot better. There seems to be a good team of staff, shelves are a lot fuller, store is cleaner and the atmosphere just feels nicer”

“Has quite a lot of choice. Not huge but medium sized and good for the area. Well laid out and clean. Staff can be more friendlier rather than standing around watching everyone like hawks on the self-service tills as if we are all going to steal!”

“Small coop which offers all the necessity, flowers and you can use this address as collection point to pick up parcels. Also option to drop them off using the evri machine.”

“I went there was because my firend told me she'd spotted a celebriy working there. I think it used to be a bakery about 20 years ago so i guess it wasnt to much of a suprise to see Phil hollywood stocking the dairy counter - he was really concentrating on making sure the yoghurts were in date- thats whats I like about him - he's a prefectionist”

“My card was not working due to a technical issue with my bank and I had no other way to pay. One of the Tesco employees offered to buy me my sandwich and I am very grateful and will certainly be back to pay him back. Wish I could give more stars for the kindness and generosity!”
