“Iceland this month has kindly introduced a dozen new 100% plant-based food products in the freezer section. I found them in the Stroud, Gloucestershire store. Pictured is some of the new products I bought today.”

“Nice little Co-op store. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and we've had occasion to be very grateful for their honesty. Sometimes it doesn't hold a very wide range of stock; it would be nice if there was more organic stuff, for example.”

“Waitrose simply excells- in so many ways: the ambience of lighting, width of aisles, display of products; the breadth of choice; the helpfulness of the staff.
I never shop anywhere else unless it's an emergency.”

“I often go here when the main supermarkets are very busy. Always quieter and easier to shop. Obviously not the stock there that the big chains have, but what they have is decent. Always seems to be a bargain to be had.”

“Nice staff bar one lol! Has most of what you'd need from a small Tesco. Limited choices in soup & sauces tho does the best mango chutney ever which you can't find in the Tesco superstore in Stroud.”

“Went to collect parcel from Tesco Direct order and cannot thank Louise enough who went far beyond her call of duty taking the rather large parcel to my car and even more persevered getting it into the car. All of this was done with a friendly smile, she is definitely an asset to tesco and the local community. Thank you Louise.”

“It would be so helpful if a self-serve checkout was installed for 10 items or less. I queued a long time behind people with full trolleys with just my 3 items. Eventually I was invited to step in front of the person in front of me, which was very kind of them, but self check out would have been a lot quicker.”

I have an unseen disability and asked for help.
No hesitation, she helped me to till and scanned my items while I packed. I still felt part of the process and we had a lovely little chat.

“This store is convenient for me as I have mobility issues and the parking is really close to the store. Pleasant staff, although there are too few of them nowadays.
There are things here I just can't buy in the budget supermarkets.”

“Great place for great value meat, got 4 big chicken drumsticks for £1 for example. Good supply of flowers/plants and cash point available outside. Staff are usually friendly. It's not a very big store so the range of products is quite limited- for instance there's just one aisle of frozen food. Hot food counter is excellent, maybe I just have great luck but commonly get given extra food (probably because of the time of day I visit when they're trying to get rid of stuff!). Took off 1 star because of the limited range of products available, you might not be able to get everything on your shopping list if you're after specific items”

“I have problems with walking and use a stick so carrying bags out to the car is always a problem. Not at Tesco Express Bussage. If l have just one bag and not much shopping it is Ok. If two bags with milk and lemonade then they are heavy. The staff always enquire whether l need any help and come with me to the car. The staff here are always helpful and it is much appreciated.”

“HRMMMM, I do love home bargains and this one is no exception. However, it seems to me as if most of the products are for old people. I mean seriously the amount of mugs in this place is crazy and stickers for rubbish bins?!?!?!? I am NOT middle-aged. Although I do absolutely adore the amount of cereal they have there even though a lot of it is expired. I love the policeman sticker on the front so that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 2, he makes me feel assured xx”

“The staff are wonderful, friendly efficient and ever helpful.The store is however extremely ‘tired’, the freezers in particular are a disgrace, clearly ancient, very difficult to use and this morning the pack of fruit I tried to take split because it was stuck to the bottom of the cabinet.The very many loyal customers are being let down.”
