“I really like this place. They do a great Sunday roast dinner. The staff are very friendly and always make me feel welcome. I go there pretty often and I would thoroughly recommend it.”

“Went in for dinner, saw their menu online and thought it was a lot more interesting than other similar types of pubs. All the tables were reserved on a weekday evening in the summer holidays so would definitely recommend booking in advance (especially if you have a dog like us). The staff were all very very lovely and the food came quickly, the beef on the braised beef was slightly dry and the one of us who had the burger didn’t really enjoy it. But felt generally like good value for money and the other 2 of us enjoyed our meals greatly.”

“Unexpected guests meant we were looking for a late afternoon Sunday lunch….. and The George did not disappoint, carvery until 5.30pm, the food was awesome, plentiful, with the service being second to none especially ‘Stu’ the young lad who was having his first taster of waiting tables, and managing customers expectations, a few more sessions and he’ll have them eating out of his hands.
I have to say we will definitely be back.”
