You can wait 20 mins to speak to someone on the phone (at weekends ) only to be told they are busy. What working from home. Really. Then drive to Lydney staff walk about with an I pod,they ask if they can help you are then told you need to make apptAs they are only weekend workers not from the branch what a waste of money just looks good staff walking around.When you get to the desk you feel you are a nuisance .

We are travelling to see disabled sister living near Lydney. We have to take her into Lloyds to deal with her account. We cannot make an appointment to see anyone or even ask call centre to speak to anyone there to book. We are only there for 1 day. It will not take long to see someone but it impossible to get further than Lloyds computer who says no!!! We are travelling 200 miles for this round trip. Do humans have no say in this country any more!

We opened a business account in 2000. It started off very well, support from a Relationship Manager. OK, this person was replaced at intervals as they progress in the organisation but now I only have 'phone support from someone somewhere in Scotland, only if I call them which is a nightmare to do. They save money but show no concern for their customers other than taking the fees.

Staff do not seem to know what they are doing. Very unhelpful. Have been in several times recently to get some guidance with my business account as was promised when I opened my account, but no one can help. Going to change banks, but need to be careful as Lloyds have their fingers in lots of other banks.

100% agree with reviews here saying The staff available didn't know their own procedures for opening an accounts. We had the same problem today wasted 1.5 hours of our time (I wonder if it is the same member of staff)? Dont try making a complaint to the Manager he doesnt want to acknowledge some staff do not have the abilities, qualities, attributes, etc., necessary to perform a particular job or task. When you have this attidtude at the top it just filters through to who is employed within the bank. Video and audio should be used in this bank. Personally Im doing what other reviewers are doing closing my accounts and moving to another bank IMMEDIATELY

Took my 11 year old to Lloyds to open a bank account. The staff available didn't know their own procedures for opening an account for an 11 year old and couldnâ??t help. Opening an account for someone who may bank with them for many years didnâ??t seem a priority so will be trying Barclays or HSBC in Chepstow.

I think it was Steph, who was delightful and helpful when I was opening an account, BUT I told her I was going to transfer my Natwest account to Lloyds, she never mentioned I should use 'switch' so I laboriously spent 50 mins in Natwest in Gloucester..........back at Lydney found her transfer would take 7 days!! so no validcard virtually no money in new account also my account didn't use the first name I asked for I don't use my first name but my second name.Went in and when the staff member got her head around my problem, did take the card to change and said she'd sorted the cheque book..........................yes TWO arrived to-day no card but got the 'pin' number yesterday so heigho no better than Natwest but do have a branch in LydneyGood luck Julie with changing banks, they are all the same I think! Really don't want to engage in dialogue, want you to do it all on line !! Mules forever

Always happy to help, service with a smile and nothing is too much trouble, very rate to be stuck in a queue as staff are so efficient.Makes banking more pleasurable.
