after presenting my id, they asked for my friend’s ID even though they didn’t have one, after explaining that the energy drink wasn’t for them (as why would we be sharing the same drink) they refused to let me buy it despite having an ID ?

It's a nice clean store with a surprisingly wide range of products for it's size. My experience there was not bad. There was no crowd, so my shopping was seamless and I checked out quickly and easily.
