The Halifax telephone customer officer refused to help me to collect my direct debit payment that was sent to Aspire Sports centre back due to sudden closure of the company. Aspire company knew they were shutting down and still collected peoples direct debit payment today. The Halifax telephone officer was very very rude and cut the phone on me.

For a so called bank that cares about its customers w I was very annoyed at my visit I wanted to change the type of account when I asked if I could do it at the counter I was told I had to make an appointment I then waited 15 minutes to talk to anther person ref an appointment I got told I have to make an appointment and wait just to make the 1st appointment.This is so annoying I have now withdrawn and closed the account and invested some where I just walk in the do what I want with no appointmentsI would not recommend the Halifax again

Visited 24th March. The staff was very polite, professional, and friendly. Especially the handsome and young Morgan. He is a credit to the business and everything was sorted easily, he explained everything perfectly.

I went into the bank today, to get help setting up my mobile banking app for my phone. Jonathan helped me to do it all, without being patronising or condescending. It took no time at all and, although very professional, he was very friendly and made it such a pleasant experience. One happy customer here!

We had a very pleasant experience at Halifax, Gloucester branch today. I had called to make an appointment to discuss my children's accounts the previous day. Christopher returned my call promptly and was very friendly, professional and helpful. We were fitted in with a face to face appointment quickly. On arrival at the branch the Gentleman behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Christopher was very helpful and explained everything fully. We did not feel rushed and Christopher was knowledgeable and down to earth. Thank you for the excellent service.

Had a credit card and bank account with them and suddenly they closed down the credit card account without telling me. Couldnt get internet access to the account for a couple of weeks? Suddenly they transferred the account to another one with a new account number! So disorganized - couldnt trust them so went to nationwide.
