“This is a decent tk maxx, not super big so doesn't have as much stuff as bigger tk maxx's. As like all tk maxx's, if you go in the morning, the items are all nice and organised, if you go in the afternoon, it's a bit of a mess. Have seen some terrible theft in the store, so unfortunate for the company.”

“The Staff here are mostly very helpful, the food is good quality - one of the few pleasures left in this stressful expensive world we live in. After buying from the most budget orientated supermarkets for my food and M&S, I've come to the conclusion I would rather half the amount of food & buy from M&S - & actually enjoy my evening meal after a hard long day, rather than chomping through a load of cheap beige fodder.”

“Use this store regularly for DPD parcel drop offs - Counters are generally a little slow at time as they now push more towards self service.

It's a shame that Matalan do not allow stores to sell or do the same promotions with items they discount online even if it's just to shift old stock as this would be a much busier store. We had numerous problems with Click & collect only receiving 1 out of 9-10 orders. I switched to home delivery and haven't had an issue since but I would be happier to just shop in store for the same prices.

I'm not sure what Matalans plans are for this site or other stores but to keep shops available for those who want or need clothes now, you have to create a more level playing field for them to exist. Please sort out your click and collect as this still drives footfall into your stores & keeps them operating!”
