“This review is only for drinks and dinner in the pub. As a vegetarian, I can’t say enough good things about The Dog Inn. They had more than a few vegetarian options and some that could be made vegan. I had the vegetarian Wellington with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, carrots and fresh steamed cauliflower and broccoli. My partner had the vegetarian cheese and red onion flan with chips and salad. The portions were ENORMOUS and everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The prices are reasonable and it’s just so nice to support an independent local pub over the ones that are quickly being made into chains with premade food that’s just warmed up.”
