“Came here for dinner whilst staying locally. We were cheerfully greeted and seated. The dining room where we sat was bright and airy, there were also tables in the pub area. We ordered the steak & ale pie and a steak. The food took a little time but we were not in a hurry and I think the pie probably takes some time………it was well worth the wait! The pie pastry was delicious and filled with tender steak, onions and gravy. My husband had the steak and said it was good too. The portions were hearty and we did not have room for dessert! If we lived in the area we would definitely return!”
