You charged me £25 for an mot re test and all he did was look at 2 tyres, didn't even get in it, move it put it on the ramp nothing just looked at 2 tyres absolutely disgusting

I?m giving 5 stars even though I?ve had to bring my car back the same day. The reason for the 5 stars is the honesty from Jay the manager and Aaron the fitter. Both the guys were quick to show me the mistake that was made (we are all human) and get this rectified for me. I was not left out of pocket. I really appreciated the honesty. I have total faith in leaving my car with these guys in the future. Nice one lads!

Coming from a strong experience background in car mechanics.
I recently took my car into their branch to have an assessment on my wheel bearing as it's making a VERY loud humming noise. I was told by the staff that 'it's completely fine', WITHOUT any test drive taken, and all was needed was a wheel alignment as my front tyres were wearing unevenly along with a buckled wheel.
I had taken the same vehicle in for MOT less than 2 months before which they had also done a wheel alignment, replaced a tyre, and passed everything saying that the same front tyres had almost 100% tread left.
When I questioned why a wheel alignment and 2 new tires were already required less than 2 months later, with barely 1000miles driven, all they could tell me was 'Oh, there's plenty of pot holes on the road so sometimes that can wear things out quicker'. I also questioned why the 'buckled rim' wasn't picked up during MOT, and got 'We don't check that during MOT', even though MOT is meant to be a full check over of the vehicle to prove it's safe and road worthy.
I then called another Kwikfit branch and questioned them with the same things, to then be told that it definitely is a damaged wheel bearing and should be replaced as it could be unsafe and that a wheel alignment would never cause that amount of noise.
Since then, I have taken it to another mechanic and had the wheel bearing replaced which has completely fixed all my issues.
Clearly they could not be bothered to properly assess the issue with the car and just wanted to make some quick money on tyres before making me come back to fix the original issue.
I will absolutely NOT be taking any vehicle back to any of their branches as they completely over looked a major safety issue which was blatantly clear on the vehicle.

Hit a pothole and ended up with two bulges on the front and rear tyres.
Took my car in yesterday where it only took half an hour for them to check it all over and order the tyres in.
Took the car back this morning and left it with them and all done by tonight exactly as they said.

Called yesterday as I had a slow puncture - turned up early and Joe & Jas were really helpful, saw me at once and fixed the problem super quickly and without any fuss! Very good value as well - highly recommend if you have any car issues.

Do not use. Customer service is rude. Tried to charge me £500 for 3 tyres and wheel. Left me stood in the office like a lemon, no acknowledgement. Ofice was dirty. Nearside rear tyre had a mysterious nail in it. How

Outstanding service from Kwik Fit Southend today. I had an issue with a tyre and they squeezed me in for it to get looked at today (same day). They were efficient, friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Took in without appointment and they fit me for tyre change and were quick and straight forward. Looks messy job though, I thought maybe it was glue that would disappear but hasn?t either side, also don?t look fully pumped up which I?d expect for new tyres.

These guys are fantastic! *Honest*, hard working, friendly and quick! I went in just before closing one evening explaining I think I had a tire with a slow leak- within minutes, they filled it up and told me to come back in the morning if it had dropped again, no appointment required. Of course the next morning the tire was low, so I popped in and was so impressed with how quickly I was served and the honesty I was given with price of a new tire. I even called Land Rover to see how much it would be for the tire there/and these guys even price matched them! (it wasn?t far off their price , but still-how nice!) what was even more impressive is that they had the work done within 20 minutes! I would never receive such amazing service at land rover, and it would have taken days if not weeks to even get an appointment there! Honestly would 100% recommend !
