I am sure the main Costa in SGH is glorious. The one by the car park. (Benfleet ward) that is another story. To quote my mother. ‘I have never known how coffee can be made with so much hate’

The Costa Coffee bar is inside of the main entrance at Southend University Hospital, there is a good selection of hot and cold drinks/snacks at reasonable prices, and the service is very quick with very polite staff.

Been using Costa in the Cardigan wing for over a week. Staff have been pleasant until today. Young girl serving was miserable, grumpy,rude and lacking manners.
