Visited this store twice today, once to buy and once to donate, the lady was so rude and dismissive on both occasions, i live locally so from now on I will visit the British heart foundation shop

We love it at Barnardo's. We've got ourselves so many bargains from there. My Daughter Daisy gets very excited whenever I ask if she'd like to go to the charity shop. She runs straight in and over to the toy section! It's very well stocked, the items they have available are always of good quality and the staff are always friendly and helpful.Here's a picture of the toy garage that we picked up for £3.00!

This is a fantastic Charity Shop. Great display windows. Friendly staff, neat and tidy and clean. Love shopping here and amazing bargains to find.

Highly recommend! Allow yourself good time as a lot to view in here. I've now struck gold in here a few times with "nearly new" compact and digital versatile discs such as 'school of rock' and 'James Blunt'. Situated in central Southend and very accessible. Staff welcoming and polite. Quality of a lot of the used merchandise is excellent and a picture of good value - not just tat. This Barnardo's outlet is competitive and you support a great cause - everyone's a winner!
