“It's an old fashioned type of shop where you go to buy something but come out with something else. All sort of items you don't see for sale anywhere else, I mean packs of cotton handkerchiefs. All in a warehouse, parking outside. Goods are usually well priced. It's a great place. Can be awkward for wheelchair users due some Ilse spacing.”
“Stood at the counter and a bloke entered the store shouting “Feel for me baby, I’m looking for my cuddly toy”... and it was none other than Roachford.\\n\\nSomeone said he does it regularly around the town he based his pseudonym. Well I’m not sure if he does or doesn’t but it made me jump so much I dropped my granola squares. Staff let me have a different packet though, which was appreciated.”
“I'd like to thank the lovely staff who helped me on Saturday. I'd shut my finger in the car door and I had my Grandchildren with me. The first aider helped me and other staff looked after my Grandchildren.Thank you very muchCollette”
“A great local store wih a real community feel. Usually well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. During this cost of living crisis Co- op's own bread is at a very low price compared to any supermarket but quality still good. Thank you to the manager and staff for their hard work.”
“Local newsagents and tobacconist with 2 post office counters. An essential service for the local community as there are no banks in the area. Friendly helpful staff supplying a large selection of magazine publications and child friendly too with popular sweets and confectionery.”
“Nice place, my cars drive well with the diesel / petrol from this station. Also, good prices, a good variety of products for your car and plenty of space to fill up without standing in line. KFC on the other side of the road is a bonus, even though I'm not mad about junk food. But maybe you are. Or your kids :) Missing one star as the staff could be friendlier, they always look like they are underpaid or their holiday was cut short. As a Customer Service representative myself, I can tell they could do better. All in all, better experience than other places to fill up.”
