Today I visited the Next store in Loughton and had an incredibly unpleasant experience. While browsing, I noticed a nice sweater with a visible mark/stain on the sleeve. I inquired about a replacement, but the lady at the till informed me they didn't have another.When I asked if they could provide a discount, a rude lady, whom I assume was the manager/supervisor, appeared. She aggressively instructed the till lady to close the bell and proceeded to dismiss my request, claiming she couldn't see any issue and she?s not giving me any money. Although the mark wasn't prominent in the till light, her arrogant attitude was unwarranted.I didn't request a refund, merely inquired about a discount, considering the circumstance. I was thinking of buying it even without a discount . The manager's lack of professionalism and outright rudeness made me reconsider my purchase. Despite the till lady's politeness and apology, the manager's behavior was unacceptable. It seems she could benefit from additional customer service training, as the staff demonstrated a better understanding of how to treat customers. I won't be spending my money at this store, especially given the manager's attitude.

Very rude staff. Beware opening hours on google incorrect, this store is closed well before 8pm on Saturday. Rude staff when I pointed this out as they were leaving.

Very poor (r4 c1st) managers & some staff.Look how they gathered to criticise customer in pic attached. Made a formal complaint over r4 c1st treatment by managers and staff and to shut me up HQ sent £100.. pathetic

Staff not friendly at all , today went there , the lady was standing at the entrance, completely ignored me , no hi , no hello or even a smile . How rude is that . Very bad

Had a very positive experience in here.I was served by a lovely lady called Dawn who could see I was struggling as I?m currently recovering from surgery and she was just so kind and gave me assistance.I also had to pick up something I had ordered and the process was very easy.Thank you.

Walked into the women?s section and two members of staff were working on organising clothes at the front. I made my way to the back as I was looking for something specific. They looked me up and down and followed me to the back and pretended to then be working over there. Clearly thought I was suspicious because I don?t look typically white. Racial profiling at it?s best. Absolutely disgusted.

I mainly use this store for click and collect. Service is always fast and if any problems are encountered they are usually resolved quickly.The staff have always been very friendly, particularly the small lady with a blonde bob ( she always greets me and remembers the children?s names) there?s also a lovely Turkish lady with blonde hair.Some of the younger team members leave a lot to be desired.

Utterly useless. Used their click and collect service. Waited 15 mins at the touch screen for my parcel. Nothing. Went to the till to ask if the machine was working. Was told to go back and wait by a rather rude member of staff who clearly could not be bothered to help. No apology for my wait. ZERO customer service. After 20 mins my parcel arrived, but the queue behind me was told a parcel was missing and to list the items they were expecting. Won?t be back.

So after reading the reviews it?s clear I?m not the only one who experienced poor customer service from this store. The young girls at the til and general floor are not helpful at all. I spent half hour choosing my daughters clothes to go to the til to he served by a young girl named Lilly. As soon as I approached the til I overheard her gossiping about customers with her friend. This is really rude and poor behaviour as well as unprofessional. I bought £92.10 worth of shopping and when I paid she refused to accept my money because one of the £10 notes was Scottish. Scottish notes are legal tender in the United Kingdom. Unless they are fake a store cannot refuse them. I was so annoyed with the poor service I felt like a criminal trying to pay for my daughters clothes with my hard earned money. I would avoid this store the service is terrible I think the area manager needs to step in and have a staff audit
