Hmmm. Crab sandwich was made with supermarket bread, a few scattered crisps, a tiny spoonful of supermarket coleslaw and one lettuce leaf. Really not good enough for the price.

Went for a quick pint and asked for a Stella. 100% this was not a standard Stella. Tasted like wheat beer. When asking them if it was Stella they checked and said it was. I know my beers. The owner needs to brush up on her customer facing skills as she was utterly rude. When outside the staff shouted at a person that had moved tables.

Got there on tuesday(today) just in time to order and order we did.We chose fish chips peas as main. Honestly the best fish chips and peas we've ever had. Staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble..very accomodating. Basin quiet and we really enjoyed the peace. Thoroughly brilliant and really good value.

A truly awful experience. Genuinely the worst pub I have EVER visited which is sad to say. Visited for a birthday and the owner was extremely rude. We were chatting and laughing and the owner, sat alone at a table, asked us to be quiet or leave. We were the only table in the pub! Never experienced anything like this in a pub. We promptly drank up and left. Food was average but the owner should not be involved in hosting. What a strange experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Disappointment. We went for a lovely birthday meal but we were rudely interrupted by the owner who asked us to quieten (or leave) when were making very minimal noise. There was nobody else in the restaurant with us so unsure what disturbance we were causing. The other side of the restaurant were making much more noise. I can only assume we met her on a bad day.. The other staff however were very friendly and the woman behind the bar was excellent!

Nice pub, food and friendly staff however be careful with the car park.
Upon arrival the iPad was down to register your car registration for the parking and we were unable to enter in our car registration. The staff informed us this had occurred multiple times that day but told us not to worry, they would sort it out and told us to sit down for our meal
A few months later we have received a parking fine and have appealed it multiple times but this has been rejected and we are having to now pay a hefty £100 fine. Since we have appealed multiple times over a period of time the fee went up.
Obviously not the pubs fault for the increased fine as they aren't in charge of the car park.. however, we wish we had been more persistent with the staff to ensure our car registration had been put through before we left. A bit miffed as we thought they had sorted it out and that we were fine on our end.
So do go visit the pub but just be cautious when parking for this reason!

Its fabulous. Very well run by vicky. Great food. I Live here in this fabulous location, so please trust me when I say this! Dog friendly. They host many events - it is well worth a visit believe me ?
