“Had afternoon tea with my Mum and Sister, it was a lovely treat, we were treated like royalty. The sandwiches and cakes were all very nice.Walkability: You can walk into Castle Park and the City Centre.”

Shown to the window table which was excellent for people watching!Daniel especially served us very well and was most charming.Would recommend and hope to return.Noteworthy details: There is parking behind the hotel but be very careful when entering from North Hill and keep both wing mirrors turned in!”

“It is a perfect place to spend an overnight stay. Good restaurant with very friendly staff and service. I strongly recommend the trio of pies.The hotel offers a friendly welcome in reception. The room is basic, but the bed is comfortable, and the room is spotless.The only thing I'd ask for is what travel lodge offers in terms of a comfortable chair to sit in to read a book and enjoy a cup of tea.”
