“Absolutely love Starry mart! , It was basically my main shop for groceries when I lived in Canterbury! Exposed me to all new types of food that I now absolutely adore. Cheap prices, Amazing selection of items ranging from dried noodles, Fresh cream desserts, frozen meats and even hot food to go!. Really recommend!! ❤️❤️”

“This Iceland is conveniently placed in Tollgate shopping area, which means if you time it right... you can park pretty much outside. It does however get incredibly busy at times with people visiting the shops. Similar to other Iceland shops I have been to, it isn't massive, but has most of the essentials you would need including non frozen items such as bread, milk, tissues (and tomato sauce if your my son!) etc. Have also used this Iceland for home delivery in the past, but never with much success - so tend to go instore instead.”

“Good dated products, great prices, nectar card makes a huge difference and love the individual and personal products we get offers for! Parking is great for have a child also lots of spaces”

“Have some great ideas, bought loads of things like salt and pepper ribs, different chicken savoury treats, Mars bar roulade, duck rolls, beef Wellington, the list is endless, wanted to cook it all when I got home.”

“One of the biggest aldi stores locally. Great wine selection and great access for parking. Very wheelchair accessible too.Slightly different lady out to other stores but still hold great produce. Gotta love Aldi..m the just keep getting better”

“Good choice of pizza. There own brands are very good. Good choice of Slimming World meals and snacks. Desserts are good and good choice of ice cream. Love to shop here for frozen goods, eg: frozen chips (excellent selection) pizza and Greg's pastries. Love Iceland.”

“Convenient little supermarket to get a few small bits from. Can't tell if I like or dislike the fact there's a subway inside yet. The prices here are a little high compared to other supermarkets, but their bread and local foods section are high above other places. Wouldn't ever do a weekly shop here but its handy for grabbing a few smaller bits.”

“Speedy service and great value for money. Also has self-service. This shop was recently remodelled so that all fridges and freezers are covered. Products have also been rearranged to give that 'seamless' Aldi feel.”

“My partner and I pop into here occasionally because despite being a small shop they have an enormous range of snacks, groceries and interesting things to peruse and purchase.Walking to/driving to Budgens on a whim is a fun treat. Prices are pretty good, staff are friendly and service is great. Everything always seems pretty well stocked. I just wish I lived a little bit closer!The street is quite wide and you can park on either side. It can get a little bit busy at peak times, but you can always park down the road a bit where it is even wider. Or in a side street.”

“Big and useful shop, well stocked with a decent range of goods. The carpark is big enough to pop in and park easily.Sunday afternoon there were long queues for the till, but two empty self service stations. Not sure why, maybe the locals like to pay in cash.”

“Good parking. Store is always well stocked and very rarely crowded. Most tills are sefl service and we have never had to queue for a till. We are a club card holder which gives good deals and savings”

“Deceptively large store for a village store. Limited car parking on the high street. There is a large free carpark to the rear of the store off Queens road.Store carriers a good variety of supermarket essentials. Baked goods, fruit and vegetable chillers, fridges and freezers for ready meals along with meats, fish, cheeses, yogurt and desserts.Costa coffee machine in the lobby along with hot snacks or cold snacks and sandwiches.House hold essentials available.Drinks isle for soft drinks, wines, beers, spirits, teas and coffee items.Sweets and biscuits along with savoury snacks also available.”

“I lived in Rowhedge for almost 5 years and the co-op is a real hub in the village. All the staff are lovely and would always say hello - and Peter the manager is really great and cares about what he does. You can have a laugh with most of the employees and it’s just a great little shop.”

“A very clean and spacious shop. Plenty of choice and good prices. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. (especially the man on the checkout) There is a small car park and two parking bays outside the shop. It makes a nice change to meet very friendly and polite staff.

“Amazing local store.Staff is always friendly, helpful and efficient. Shelves are always stocked and price tags are in place.Although I do not buy a lot most of times, as coop is pricier than supermarkets, there’s always decent range of nice groceries if you ran out of milk, need snacks or suddenly decided to bake. (They sell frozen mashed potatoes, cream slices, condensed milk and soured cream! As Eastern European I am very pleased.) Well, you can buy entire set of products to make Russian anthill cake or strawberry-whipped cream roulade. Which is good.They have Evri ParcelShop to return parcels. And you can get your parcel delivered to COOP as well. Which is very convenient.Security guy also kindly helped police investigation with CCTV and cash register records, when my partner’s card was stolen and used in store.I only wish bananas they sell would be more semi-green rather than brown more often.:)”

“We would personally like to thank James who works at the co op in dedham. He found us unable to use the app to be able to park in Dedham today. And paid on his own phone for us! We did get change and pop into shop and gave him it back. But what a remarkable young man James is. Total strangers and he thought nothing of helping us. Thankyou James. “Not really an Iceland person but there’s this cashier guy who always seems to be working there every time I go and he’s so chatty and funny and banters with the customers, it makes my day better. Not sure what to say about his appearance other than I think he has brown hair but if you meet him you’ll know! However, I haven’t seen him the past few times I’ve been which is unusual because I used to see him every time. Wonder where he’s gone.”

“Good quality supermarket. However, not sure why the system of opening and closing tills has to be so complicated. Open till one.... queue at till.. close till one... open till six.... move to queue then close it just before I get to the cashier.. then reopen till one... ?
There has been a change to Lidl and it's not the best. Lots more self checkout points but all cramped with no space to pack you stuff.”

“Hotel was basic but fine. Friendly staff, comfy room, god breakfast. Wifi cut out and was slow when it did work, this was premium wifi. Room was very cold when I entered and took three hours to get to a normal temperature. Shower had no hot water, warm and cold only.”

“The owners are amazing. I asked them if was possible to have Super Bock (my favourite beer) and after a week they had it. That's what I call excellent costumer service ?”

“Prices are usually the best in Colchester. Most of the time at least one or two pumps are out of order in the fast lane. ‘Pay at the pump’ only available for 4 pumps, rest of the time you have to pay at the exit to cashier.”

“Had a lovely experience with Jess today. First time using this salon, went in for a wash cut and finish. Appointment time was good, as I booked yesterday and got an appointment for the next day. Lovely head massage when having my hair washed. Would highly recommend. Will definitely use again.”

“They have added self checkouts, which I think is so helpful to make the line go by faster as those who are using card can easily use the self checkout. Very happy with this new addition though I haven't been to this co-op in awhile so this may have been implemented some time ago.”

“I know this is the wrong store page, I can’t find the correct one but I had to write a review on my experience today at Tesco express Colchester on Magdalen St. I was quite nervous as I’m still getting used to being a new Mum. My baby was crying and a wonderful woman called Paige noticed me and offered to help, she interacted with my daughter and took my basket and ask me what I needed and went round the shop with me, she even helped at the checkout. Honestly outstanding customer service. She’s such a great asset to the store and takes pride in what she does. I’m not sure she’ll see this but know that we need more people like you in this world. “I made a telephone call to check on a item was in stock, reserved two which the lady on the desk brought to me while I continued my shop.
Had a slight problem with a gift card because accepted by the till, the checkout lady was wondering, could not have helped me more. Amazing service as always.”
