“The Smart Motor Group is an excellent family ran dealer who are clearly compassionate about their company. The service provided was excellent from all the team. The vehicle I purchased had a mismatch headlight but was sorted free of charge to me at their expense, They put a lovely new LED headlight on the vehicle. I was also kept in the loop at all times in the process which was also a very nice touch.I would love to give 5 stars however there was a few issues that occurred with the vehicle that did put a stain on the experience with this company.First of all, I bought using finance meaning I bought the car blind as I lived over 100 miles away, It was a big risk but the company made me feel safe doing this. Upon turning my new vehicle on for the first time I had noticed there was already a warning light on the dash for tyre pressures. They were all over the place. It is nothing major as it is just 50p at a petrol station but I wasnt too bothered but I later found out it was due to a slow puncture as there was a nail in the tyre.Secondly, the company claimed to had done a service on the vehicle which I am unsure whether it is true or not as it was not stamped in the log book meaning it could be forged... which leads me onto my next point. When driving home, the engine management light came on which obviously was a huge worry. The company provided me with a 3 month warranty so I wasn't too bothered about it but it was not ideal. When I arrived back home, I connected an OBD to the car and found out the Purge Valve was faulty and caused not only the engine light but also the traction control light to come on.The purge valve cost me a further £45. I installed it myself as it was a very easy fix. I know I could've utilized the warranty however I feel something as easy as a purge valve did not warrant the stress of going through a warranty.Other than the above mentioned issues, My experience with this company was great. I highly recommend it to any first time buyer as they talk you through everything and are extremely thorough with it.Thanks Guys :)”
