“I went to HSBC Tindal Square branch last Tuesday to pay in cash at counter only to find it closed for maintenance (used to use Maldon but that branch closed), but hey, notice on door says you can go to Post Office in HWSmith where are HSBS staff waiting to help. Traipsed over to HWSmith and found only one poor scared looking female HSBC staff member who couldn’t provide any normal counter service. But hey, she said I could go over to branch at Braintree! Banks as they are open! Or wait until 25 April for Chelmsford branch to reopen. This bank’s idea of providing its customer’s with service is joke.”

“Queuing for the counter can take too long. Happens too often. Most of the time one member of staff too short. Complained recently. Need a coffee and biscuits and seat if were waiting more than seven minutes.”
“I have used this branch on and off for over a decade. Handy location close to parking. The staff have always been polite and friendly. No request, and I have had some odd ones!, has ever seemed like too much hassle. I have dealt with the branch managers on numerous occassions where i have always been treated like an individual rather than a number.”
“5 star service from Anne at Upminster. Anne went over and above re an Atm depost concern. Anne liased with Chelmsford to check progress and called me back to put my mind at rest. I was not near the original branch that I had used for the transaction.

my misunderstanding, not any branch.)
