“Went to use the swimming pool with my daughter (4) at one of their special children (and parents) only sessions. The centre is clean and well staffed with lots of changing facilities.”
“I have been a member in Nuffield Health Bishop’s Stortford for over 2 years, and I love it there. It has the best facilities in town, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, well equipped gym, class studio, changing room, shower facilities, lockers, cafe, or even a beauty salon.Staff are friendly there and are always ready to help. Members covered wide range of age and are always nice to each other, it’s easy to meet new friends there and form a community. It also provides lots of different classes, Yoga, Pilates, Body Balance, Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Attack, Body Steps, group cycle, Aqua aerobic or even dance class, ballet fit and Zumba, from stretching to high intensity exercises, there must have something to suit everyone. I have compared the classes variety to other gyms, and I can say Nuffield is one of the gyms which provide the most exercise classes. Class instructors are professional and friendly, there are always options in class workouts which suit everyone fitness level. They also have many personal trainers whocan help you with your personal training goals.Ever since I have become a member, both my physical and mental wellbeing have greatly improved. I would definitely recommend Nuffield Health to anyone. I rate it 10/10. ?”
“This isn't just an affordable gym, it's the best gym I've ever trained in!What do I like?- I've never had to wait to get on the equipment- The equipment they do have (especially the plate loaded strength machines) are excellent at targeting the muscles I want to develop.- There is loads of space! I hate gyms where everything is crammed in and can't train without bumping into someone else.- There is a variety of equipment even for the same muscle groups eg, they have both seated and laying hamstring curl machines. This might not seem like a big deal to the casual gym goer but to those taking their training seriously or carrying injuries, it's great to know they have every piece of equipment to hit every part of the muscle group. Another example is having both leg press machines and a hack squat!- The members seem friendly and the staff have been great.- There is a culture of putting weights away after use. The dumbells and weight plates are always put away and in the right place when you need them. Also there are loads of 20kg plates- Lots of cardio equipment and it's always available.Things to consider:- This is not a flashy, corporate, ultra modern feeling, 'health club' style gym. If this is what you expect from a gym then maybe try somewhere else. In my experience though, having been a member of those types of gyms, my best workouts have been at Challenge Gym and I would struggle to go back to a corporate now. Thanks to the Challenge Fitness team and Wayne for having a great place to train!”
