Stopped off here on spec for Sunday lunch. It was very busy and we hadn't booked but fortunately they were able to fit us in. We had the roast lamb and our friend the Sussex Smokie. It was all delicious and piping hot. Excellent service and a lovely open fire in the bar. Well worth a visit and obviously a popular

Absolutely lovely traditional pub to visit. Great welcome, cosy vibes and a roaring fire, what more could you want? Well, I had probably one of the best burgers I've had in my life!
