One word - Rude. Literally no forward facing Customer Service, asked for advice on a simple matter to which the reply was 'no idea'. No idea? No eye contact, no referral to the pharmacist, no recognition as being a paying customer. Shocking.

Terrible chemist. Staff are rude and unhelpful. So many staff standing around but not willing to assist with helping people. This chemist does not work on customer service just demand. Wish I could go back to Boots they were so nice, helpful and polite. Why do I need to waste time on emails. A lot of the staff have RBF, unhelpful and a lot stand around busy doing nothing.

I have lived in Stone Cross since April 2021. I won't go into details, only before I came here I moved through many health authorities. Not one of the surgeries and adjacent pharmacists managed to be able to communicate and manage my repeat prescriptions. The same problem occurred at Stone Cross. Eventually, through frustration, I no longer used Merriam Surgery or Kamsons. The doctor I saw arranged for prescriptions to be collected physically from two other Surgery's, I went to Pevensey Bay Boots. There, I presented a physical copy of my prescription to the delightful member of staff in a Boots half the size, very occasionally they would let me know "could you possibly come back later, or maybe tomorrow. We may not have that medication in." At least they gave you a reason.Unfortunately, I had to make an appointment with my doctor to review and repeat my prescription. For this, I could only get an appointment at Stone Cross, which had actually become quite a stressful place to visit, I thought, "It's been some time, they must have sorted out their systems by now." Off I went, saw my doctor, got my prescription, decided to hand it to receptionist as there was a long queue in Kamsons. A week later, when I went to pick up my medication......You guessed it "sorry we haven't got it,it's not on the system." I enquired at the Surgery, the receptionist, rolled her eyes, found it, printed it, handed it to the lady at Kamsons, I picked it up.I was told by a member of staff, " allow a week after handing in the physical copy, we will have it." I presented it on a Monday, because it was a bank holiday the following Monday. I went in late Tuesday, to be told "sorry it isn't on the system....If you have read this, you are feeling some of the frustration over waiting for me to get to my point. Only some of the frustration I possess of Kamsons, Stone Cross.

Never answer their phones! I've even stood in the shop snd rung the number to see if anyone would answer..they didn't.. mainly because they had turned the ringer off on the phone!!

Staff are amazing here they go above and beyond to help you but ashamed public are so bloody rude to them when all they are doing as the best they can with what they've been given 110% awesome staff???

EDIT: Do NOT Call Them, even if you want to save time and/or fuel. Their phones are on silent. They only care about their physical customers!! (Look through the reviews and see how little they care about you if you have a bad review of them, they don't even acknowledge the bad reviews nor try to better themselves.)If you come to Kamsons for any reason other than a prescription, then it's a good place. Want a prescription? You're having a laugh. Been waiting on the phone for 45 minutes for them to hang up after 15 minutes on hold saying there is "no one available to take the call". If you need to chase up a prescription, turn up to the pharmacy, don't play nice and don't leave until you get the answers you want. They really don't care.

Woeful would be the word? I now go to Lloyd's @Sainsbury. But had to collect for a family member today. I called ahead at 9a.m. and was told that a 40 minute wait was on? So when will It actually be ready I enquired. I was assured on the shelf for midday. So turned up at 12.30 and still not done and none of the 10 staff recalled a phone call....even though they had to download the prescription to be done? Then only supplied half of it, so I can go and stand with the sick and the weary again on Friday, but not at any approx time as the meds "may not be in at all"?

If you need a prescription in a hurry you have no chance. Doctor did prescription, Kamsons got it in the morning of the next day, left it another day and went in at lunchtime and still not ready. First Chemist I have used that takes so long. This was not a repeat prescription as am aware these take at least 72 hours, this was from a doctors appointment.

I have been using this Pharmacy at Stone Cross for years my doctor's surgery being next door. I must say that the staff are always polite and pleasent, however what ever system they have moved onto it is just not working anymore. Previously I would order my prescriptions on line every month through the doctors, I would get a reminder 7 days before they where due, then go in collect roughly 72hrs later, never a problem until the doctors did away with this system. I was then advised to ring the Pharmacy direct and they would put it through, again I would go into the Pharmacy 72hrs later and the prescription would be ready. This worked fine until about a year ago, I would go into Kamsons to collect and be told it was not ready or checked. To compensate for this I would order my regular monthly prescription a week in advance, this worked OK for a couple of months until I started being told when I went in to collect that it was not ready or checked, it would be ready in an hour. So this month I rang my order through over a week in advance, I went in today to be told yes it had come through but was not done or checked, I would have to wait an hour.Phoning through is obviously not working anymore, what's the point in ringing the prescription through to give the Chemist time to prepare when it's not done until you get there, furthermore there always seems to be a substantial queue when you go in.Perhaps it because of all these news houses being built in the area that Kamsons Stone Cross can't cope with the demand. Probably best to try one of these online home delivery services.
