Such lovely staff, really made us feel welcome. Very attentive and great food.
Nothing was too much to ask, our roast dinner was delicious and we had our 1 year old she was being rather loud, they all made us feel at ease by smiling and laughing at her. Also had such a lovely customers that came over to us to hello to the baby and let us know that they found her funny. We would definitely come again. Great staff, lovely community of customers and great food / drinks!

Stayed her for a work trip. Lovely boutique hotel vibe, food is absolutely incredible and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Ended up eating breakfast, lunch & dinner over 2 days! And so much cheaper than other hotels in the area. Lots of nice touches like fresh milk and chocolate goodies in the fridge and a high end coffee machine. And right on the beach.10/10

I? m a regular customer for Sunday roast.
The roast is delicious, and the gravy is outstanding. You can really tell that the chef spends days perfecting it ;) using the best ingredients and techniques to make it special.
My favorite drink there is the spicy jalapeño ?margarita, in my opinion it?s the best in town (you must try it) which pairs perfectly with the meal.
The incredible food and the chef's dedication keep me coming back for more.
I also like the serving staff especially the Polish girl (sorry I don't have her name) she is very nice and the maitre d is very welcoming (again I sorry for not knowing his name)
Thank you for all the hard work and passion you put into every dish and drinks!

A 50th and a 60th to celebrate. 4 long time friends gather on a surprisingly sunny Saturday in late September in the spacious & delicately decorated restaurant. No rush. A looong lunch is the order of the day. The staff especially Elona couldn't have been more accommodating and perfectly attentive. Slowly does it. One fabulous course at a time. For me? Plenty of excellent wine if all colours to compliment...Oysters followed by the Duck Leg Ragu. Pause.... Delicious Grilled Mackerel as a fish course....lamb pie (a proper pie)....Choc and Pistachio torte (wonderfully light)....cheese...coffee ...no "wafer thin mint" after such a feast but the birthday boys enjoyed a sparkler on a piece of fudge with a sing song. Thank you so very, very much for looking after us. We had such a lovely time and will definitely return.....a looong dinner perhaps :-)

We stayed here over our wedding weekend with our friends and family staying in all the rooms and mew houses. It couldn't have been more perfect. Great location and beautiful rooms. The hotel team (Diarna especially) were amazing from the beginning and were incredibly flexible, informative and made our stay memorable for all the right reasons. Breakfasts were delicious too!

We went today first time to dine. We?d had a drink previously. Laura & her team, everyone excellent attention without pushy, smiling genuine. Good food. We are going again next week with a friend who?s visiting us. It was very busy which shows how good it is.
Everyone was treated as though they were special. Returning diners. Obviously ?
Food and drinks: Bar staff on the ball. Everyone looked to see what was needed and did it. Excellent.

4 years ago me and the family came to the ginger pig for new year?s eve, the food was great but the standout was the dessert, the pumpkin pie, easily the best dessert i have ever had and we?ve come in countless times after that but they?ve sadly taken the pie off the menu, please bring it back you will not regret it!!

Love staying here and it's better than staying in Brighton, plus the off road parking is way cheaper. Beautiful modern clean rooms with a well stocked mini bars and complimentary Cowshed products. Only complaints are that it would be nice to have breakfast included in the price (at an extra reduced charge) and for the service charge to be removed from drinks ordered at the bar as we were sat there. I know you can ask for it to be removed, but it's embarrassing having to ask.
Nearby activities: Rockwater and Brighton races are both worth a visit!

We went en famille for lunch two days in a row and can only say both as darn good each other. Fab Bloody Mary?s, fab plump oysters, chicken liver creamy parfait, roast carrots and goats curd and oh my days, the lamb. Did I mention the oysters? And Francesco as manager was charming and the service attentive but not intrusive. If only you opened one albeit with an alternate name in the UAE. FABULOUS!
