We just had a mid-week early dinner here and I have to say the food is absolutely excellent.. and service also great ! We eat out a lot and I reckon this has to be the best pub food in Brighton .. we will definitely be back very soon!

Went for a Sunday roast and it was the most disappointing roast we've had in Brighton. It started out bad when we ordered croquettes. It was 6 quid, and literally two tiny croquettes the size of 50p coins were presented to us. The pork was super fatty, the beef was super bland. Good food and good service. We turned up on spec on a Saturday lunchtime as a family of 5 adults. They were very accommodating. The food was well cooked and tasty, served in a timely, friendly manner.
Listed as one of the Top 10 Pubs in the UK by GQ, we serve traditional food sourced from Sussex’s finest suppliers. Our menus are updated regularly offering fresh inspiration and seasonality. We also serve a mix seriously good cocktails.
We have a private dining area perfect for parties or special celebrations, plus a small outdoor terrace for drinks.
