“David the Manager kindly gave me his ear to listen to how a photo from Tesco as the Data Controller under the Data Protection Act 2018 has been used incorrectly to accuse my daughter (a regular user of the petrol station) of an unpaid fuel incident by Forecourt Eye (who I assume is the Data Processor) and have not been helpful in resolving this issue. Hopefully we will get an update soon.”

“Lovely corner store with absolutely everything I need at a moments notice. Can't do a big shop obviously but the staff are lovely and the main security guard that is there is always very friendly.
Always cross the road safely and use the lights, it can be a dangerous intersection, but worth it for this little shop.
Good deals on booze usually too.”

“Visited Co op, Hangleton Road this evening after Tesco, for Daily Mail. Tesco papers all tied up, couldnt sell me one. Lovely guy at the Co op. We have one left and i will re pack them. Fabulous service. This has happened before too !!! Well done Co op Customer Service. Im a great fan !!!”

“I was hesitant to come here after reading the reviews, but they are completely wrong, they mistake quitness for being unfriendly, I walked in said a polite hi and he responded in a friendly tone. Some people like to talk others don't, it's up to you but don't punish the whole shop just because you feel uncomfortable when you proably haven't even tried saying the first word.”

“Love this shop! Well done Oscars on the Green for elevating the humble corner store. I had great service today using the collect+ service through the store - I'd accidentally chosen the 'Print label at home' option when I'd mean to choose the 'print label in store' option. Rather than send me home to sort out the printing, the member of staff printed the document off for me there and then in the shop. I really appreciate the extra effort this took (especially as I don't have a printer). I'm sure providing these services can be a pain for the shop at times but they work in attracting extra custom, as I would go out of my way to visit the store now rather than a shop closer that isn't as well kept or doesn't go the extra mile. Keep up the hard work, thank you ?”

“As a vegetarian family, they have everything we need. Excellent quality vegetables, a large selection of kefirs and yogurts. Great prices with the Tesco card. Exceptionally friendly service, just like shopping at a family-owned store. No lines, a peaceful shopping experience without crowds or searching for products. A small, friendly shop.”

“In these absolutely crazy times as regards Petrol/Diesel Sainsburys in West Hove service and organisational skills are second to none. Incredibly organised, extremely polite and helpful to everyone, if only all supermarkets were like this. The way in which they have manned the Petrol station in such an efficient way, also making it abundantly clear when they have ran out of Petrol, which unfortunately can't be said for alot of the other stations. Hopefully we will get back to some sort of normality soon. Well done Sainsburys @ West Hove Petrol station.”

“Take no notice of reviews saying lack of stock, because I went in and managed to get pretty much everything on my list. Good mix of brand and non-branded essentials. What would make this store perfect is to please could security move on the beggars outside. it’s the main reason i put off going into this store, they sit by the cash point as well don’t feel comfortable using it”
