Awful opticians with incredibly rude and uninformative staff who claim using a prescription that is 2 years old is "illegal". When challenged about the legality of them trying to force a new eye test they couldn't provide answers or point me towards the laws that back up their claim. The head optometrist was argumentative, profit orientated and lacked knowledge in her field to back up their outlandish claim. Avoid if you value customer care, honesty & good service. Waste of time & money. If you're looking for new glasses with the same prescription, go to an online retailer and avoid these money grabbing capitalists.

Tracy on reception is great as is the gentleman who carried out the eye test. I left them with mint condition Police sun glasses frames and sprung loaded frames for my normal glasses due to them being far superior to anything they have in stock for the lenses to be added. 2.5 weeks later I rang to see if they were ready and was informed they had not been quality checked but to come towards the end of the day for collection. The mint condition Police frames are chipped, scratched and look like they have been attacked with a vice and hammer when 2 screws are all that had to be undone and new lenses popped in, something I could have done if been supplied with the lenses. The new prescription glasses are not as sharp as my old prescription and no good whatsoever. The staff said they couldn't do anything and I would need to speak to the manager tomorrow. The Police frames are beyond repair and the one star rating will remain until I receive a call from the manager to see what solution is offered.

Not impressed, lack of information online apart from opening times, no one answered the store phone, so drove to store wanting a free NHS eye test. Was told that the earliest would be in December. Waste of my time and trust in the services they might offer, If they cannot inform their potential customers of the services on offer I doubt their other skills could be dubious. When I suggested they might put more information online the assistant said that was above her pay grade

Good value but sraff need training in fitting the glasses. I gave up after two attempts to have my glasses fitted correctly and pain free. Thanks to SpecsSavers for fitting them correctly.

Fantastic service today in Hollingbury, the eye test was very thorough and well explained by the lovely optometrist, and the service from the lady preparing my order was not rushed and very well managed. Id had a problem with my sight and getting the right glasses from Specsavers but the team here put it right and explained all the options really well. Great experience great team!

Absolutely superb and professional. Always used another well known opticians but after them getting my prescription very wrong thought I would try Asda. Discussed varifocals bit nervous.....love them. Thank you so much
