Was a really nice place to stay. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. The table service in the restaurant was that of a 5 star restaurant in London. Giulio was the perfect host. Would definitely stay again.

The staff here really are incredibly friendly, on multiple occasions going the extra mile to make our stay easy and relaxing. The history of the building is also fascinating (and how the hotel gets its name). The rooms are very old and floors uneven but that’s part of the aesthetic. Good.clean.staff very friendly. Bed--very comfy. Breakfast---full english --overcooked..dry ..cheap sausage
