“We had our annual dinner/presentation here.The food was excellent, staff helpful but a bit miserable.Drink price eye watering....They had a hosepipe running across the top of the door frame along the floor and in the disabled toilet then out the window, clearing water from the flooded cellar. With the price's they charge, a professional pumping company would be a better option ?”

“Although some way from Battle we had a wonderful stay here in 1066 country. A few vineyards to sample, Battle Abbey, Hastings, Not a huge establishment (only 10 rooms as far as I could make out) but well appointed, bright and airy, with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. We'll be back!”

“We came here for a last minute lunch (walked past the week before and I couldn't stop thinking about how good the food smelt). The food was absolutely fantastic!! We had an incredibly juicy bacon cheeseburger, dirty nachos with chilli and a kids Mac and cheese! We all left very full, very happy and in a slight food coma! The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very friendly! Definitely recommend!!”
