Lovely place to stay other than having to beg for your deposit back and still not received. Lady on reception awfully rude and not helpful called RACHEL. Would go again if wasn?t for her awful attitude. Be careful of your deposit they make you key in your numbers and DO NOT give a recipt awful customer service

Disappointing. We sat for lunch, we waited 30 minutes for our first drinks which only arrived after I went to the bar to order as the service staff didn't come to take our order despite there being six staff behind the bar. When the food did arrive, it was clearly frozen food very poor quality.
If the food had been edible we still would not have been able to enjoy the meal due to the wasp infestation in the restaurant area, which could have been easily prevented by keeping the door leading out to the decking closed. The restaurant is air-conditioned, so there was no reason to have the door open. A good manager would have picked up on the issue.
We witnessed three different complaints in the short time we were there.
Tiles falling off in the bathroom screwed back into place, quite clearly the whole place is run down and poorly maintained and poorly cleaned.
We cancelled our room reservation and left. We won't be returning, which is such a shame because the outdoor setting and views are amazing.

Myself and Alexandra got married at the KP Resort on the 19th of July 2025 and it honestly couldn?t have been a better day. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish and it?s one we?ll always remember. Everything ran smoothly, the setting was beautiful, and the staff made us feel really well looked after throughout the whole day.
A big thank you to Chris the manager who was incredibly helpful and really straight to the point, which we appreciated. It made things so much easier knowing we were dealing with someone who was honest and clear, especially when planning something as important as our wedding.
We genuinely felt like we got brilliant value for money choosing to have our wedding here. The food for our wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests commented on how good it was. It looked great, tasted even better, and didn?t come with a ridiculous price tag either. Even the bar prices were really reasonable, which is rare at a wedding venue these days. It was just really refreshing to see.
What made the evening even more special was having Sam as our barman. He was fantastic. So many people mentioned how great he was. He was funny, friendly and really brought a good vibe to the night. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed being there and that made such a difference. He was polite with everyone and just had a brilliant energy about him that helped make the night what it was.
If I had to point out something we didn?t love, it would be the accommodation. Quite a few of our guests stayed in the Huxtable Suite, and other rooms which cost between £150- £280 per night. At that price, we expected something a bit more modern and comfortable. The room felt a little outdated and it got really hot, especially with the warm weather. There was no air con and you couldn?t open any windows to cool it down. The only option was the back door, but that?s not ideal if you?ve got kids. For the price, it definitely needed some improvements. Or a decent fan at least.
That said, the day itself was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, the views, it all came together and gave us a wedding day & night we?ll never forget. We wouldn?t hesitate to recommend the KP Resort to anyone thinking of getting married. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Stayed in lodge 24 and this is definitely not deluxe needs a good update the upstairs is fine but the lounge definitely needs updating
We had a meal in the restaurant and me and my husband were sick ? a couple of hours after the meal
We made a complaint and are still waiting for a response
The grounds are very well looked after and the area is lovely

We stayed in lodge 6, its very dated inside, sofa/tv?s all need updating and more comfy seating is needed for 8 people as cant all fit on the sofa. we got 3 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days haha no deep pan to cook only a frying pan. The fridge doesnt get cold enough either the butter was like soup by the third day. No bin bags provided either, I just think for the price you charge all this stuff should be included it would cost you peanuts. The hot tub was red hot but ideally we needed it turning down which we was told wasnt possible. No robes or slippers included which you get at other lodges, the dish washer didnt even clean the pots we used that as a preliminary method then washed them by hand. Some bathrooms didnt have soap etc in either which was bizzare when some did. Other then that it was great

We booked our wedding at Kilnwick Percy for 15/05/2026 with high hopes, as the beautiful grounds and the convenience of onsite lodges initially swayed us. However, our experience was utterly ruined by their inflexible and poorly communicated accommodation policies for Friday weddings, coupled with appalling customer service.
From the moment we tried to arrange accommodation for our guests, it became clear that Kilnwick Percy operates under rigid lodge booking profiles that were NEVER disclosed to us during the booking process. We were told our guests couldn't book lodges for the Thursday night before our Friday wedding without paying exorbitant rates for a minimum three-night stay, often exceeding the cost of a full week! This immediately created significant stress and financial concerns for our guests traveling from across the UK and overseas.
The venue's proposed "solution" involved a complex and unacceptable arrangement of limited standard hotel rooms (nowhere near enough for our guests), forcing many into significantly more expensive superior rooms. We were also expected to manage the complicated lodge bookings ourselves, despite being told initially that guests could book independently.
Despite weeks of emails and attempts to find a reasonable solution with the accommodation manager and even a higher manager, we were met with inflexibility, contradictory information, and ultimately, complete silence. Our concerns about the inflated prices, the booking process, and the lack of standard room availability were consistently ignored.
The stress and administrative burden this placed on us were immense, adding significant and unnecessary complications to our wedding planning. The venue's lack of transparency regarding their Friday wedding accommodation policies is frankly shocking and feels deliberately misleading.
Despite being forced to cancel our wedding booking due to Kilnwick Percy's unacceptable accommodation policies and lack of communication, we are still awaiting a full refund of our deposit and compensation for the significant losses we have incurred. This further demonstrates their disregard for customer satisfaction and their failure to take responsibility for the problems they created.
We strongly advise any couple considering a Friday wedding at Kilnwick Percy to be extremely cautious about their accommodation policies. Do not assume your guests can easily book lodges for the night before your wedding. Their inflexible rules and lack of communication could create a similar nightmare for you. Look elsewhere for a venue that values its clients and provides transparent and reasonable terms.
This venue prioritizes its booking profiles over the needs and well-being of its wedding clients. Our experience was a major disappointment and caused immense unnecessary stress. AVOID if you value clear communication and reasonable accommodation for your guests.
We are currently pursuing all available avenues to recoup our losses, including [mention specific actions you are taking, e.g., contacting consumer protection agencies, seeking legal advice]. We urge anyone considering this venue to be extremely wary and to ensure every aspect of their booking, especially accommodation for Friday weddings, is clearly and legally documented before committing.

Went out for tea tonight and there was literally 2 staff on duty and it was really busy. The lady working though was absolutely amazing, did everything to make sure we were happy despite being rushed off her feet. Food was lush too. Thanks.

We stayed in lodge 15 with hot tub, its was a wonderful one night stay, the room was absolutely fabulously, lovely and warm, the bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful, next morning we had breakfast which was very nice (full English) and the service was excellent, we was serve by Pat the other guy was lovely too , both guys credit to the company. Also the ladies on reception were very helpful on arrival, we will be back soon 10/10 all round . Regards Kay

Have visited a few times over the past few years but won?t be going again until i am reassured things have improved. Hot tub first nights freezing. Was asked to call customer services the following day, which I did and was told on change over their log tells them it was 38, this certainly the case as it wasn?t as it wasn?t fit for use. The lady I spoke to repeatedly told me what their log said!
Asked to email them so they could look into it and I still await a reply.

Expensive, poor customer service, cold hot tubs and unclean rooms.
Extremely disappointed with the stay here. Booked well in advance and booked a meal in the restaurant along with speaking to someone on the phone to confirm.
Night of arrival attend at the restaurant at our booked time to be told the chefs had gone home and no offer off apology and told to order from a local takeaway instead.
Room was pleasant enough but clearly not being cleaned thoroughly, cups and glasses were dirty and still had previous guests contents and lip smear Ings on them. Moved the sofa slightly and found a stash of wrappers underneath. Kettle also had water in it from the previous guests.
There was a random loud dripping from the shower that hadn?t been used yet and only got worse once it had which disturbed the nights sleep.
The hot tub never got past 35 degrees meaning you couldn?t enjoy it as you can?t use the hot tub past 11pm or after 9am in the morning. Walked in the room shortly after 3pm hoping to use it and found it was sat 25 degrees so couldn?t.
Emailed a complaint through to customer services and yet to receive a reply 2 weeks on.
For £185 a night I would expect a far better standard all round.
Extremely poor from this establishment considering how highly they clearly think of themselves yet cannot be bothered to even respond.
Don?t stay here.

Will not re-visit simply as a result of reception staff behaviour. Abrupt/rude reception staff (Mark). Shame as we have stayed here once before and there was no issue then.
Cold, dark and rainy night with heavy luggage. Many vacant parking spaces available. Asked at reception when we arrived late in the night if we could park closer to the lodge tonight. Bear in mind there were plenty of empty parking spaces. Staff was extremely rude in refusal: "By all means you can drop off your luggage at the drop off point near the lodge then return your vehicle to Golf reception area and walk it back to your Lodge".
Refusal is not in itself a problem but the way in which we were spoken to was unacceptable.
We have made a note of your parking policy now and that there are no allocated parking for all lodges/bookings. However, we found your staff quite rude and abrupt.
