“My brother is an on-call security guard, who has tried for two weeks to get a flu vaccination, he has made appointments that have been cancelled and even turned up to a drop in at a supermarket to find the session was no longer happening. Holme Pharmacy posted on Facebook that they were doing drop ins today, which happened to be a day after a night shift that he could attend. He was worried whether it would be possible, being conscious that it may be too busy for it to happen. When we entered the pharmacy, oh boy, we were made so welcome and the staff were really friendly and sorted him out, quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much for doing this, it meant such a lot to him and he couldn’t stop singing your praises. It doesn’t seem like a big thing to some but it was to him.”
